Shaykh Azeemuddin Ahmed

Shaykh Azeemuddin Ahmed was born and raised in the Chicago-land area. At a very early age, he was blessed with the honor of having completed the memorization of the Holy Quran. Afterwards, inspired by the motivating words of a great disseminator of the faith, Mawlana Tariq Jameel, Shaykh Azeemuddin set out for South Africa to begin a rigorous eight-year alim and ifta course at Darul Uloom Zakariyya in Johannesburg. There, he was blessed with the opportunity to study under one of the worlds elite jurists and scholars of hadith, Shaykh Mufti Rada al-Haq, amongst many other notable erudite scholars of Islam.

Shaykh Azeemuddin also traveled to Pakistan where he studied in-depth Arabic under the renowned teacher of rhetoric, Shaykh Ramzi al-Habib al-Tunisi al-Maliki of Tunisia whilst also enjoying the company of some of Pakistans best ulama, amongst them Mawlana Tariq Jameel (may Allah preserve him).

Following his graduation with top honors from South Africa, Shaykh Azeemuddin earned authorizations in the Islamic sciences, which included but was not limited to, Arabic language, exegesis (tafsir), hadith, and jurisprudence (fiqh).

He is currently Imam at the AIA Masjid in Frankfort, IL and also holds Islamic studies classes at his newly established masjid and institute of learning, DarusSalam,Foundation located in Lombard, IL. (http://www.darussalamfoundation.org/)

Maulana Amjad Ali Qasmi

Maulana Amjad Ali Qasmi completed his Hifz in 1968 from Madrassa Baitul Uloom, Hyderabad, along with the Aalim Course in 1976 from University of Darul Uloom, Deoband, U.P.

He has served as the Vice Principal of Baitul Uloom, Hyderabad from 1978 -1992. Having moved to the U.S. in 1993, he has served as the Imaam of Masjid Ul-Haqq, San Mateo, CA from 1993 - 2000, along with being elected as the Ameer of the Yaseen Foundation from 2001 - 2003 in Belmont, CA.

Maulana Amjad Sahab has moved to Chicago in 2004, currently serving as a scholar for the Shariah Board from the last 6 years, teaching Hadith and Tafsir in Darul Uloom, Chicago. He is fluent in Arabic, Urdu, and English and has been providing Scholarly Services for the Hujjaj from the last 8 years, of which the last three years he has served with Yaseen Hajj. He is currently also the Supervisor of the Zabihah / Halal Committee, and is a counselor for marital / family affairs.
