silsila-e-rehmani.webs.com — HADEES SHARIF: Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem Assalamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu ASALATU WASALAMU ALAYKA YA RASULLALLAH Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam   1) Hazrat Jabir (radi Allahu anhu) said, “O Prophet of Allah (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam)! My parents be sacrificed upon you, Who is that whom Almighty Allah created before anything? The beloved Prophet Muhammad (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) stated, "O Jaabir (radi Allahu anhu)! Verily, before the creation of anything else, Almighty Allah created the Noor of your Nabi (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam)from His Noor." (Zirkaani) Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah Ansari (radi Allahu anhu) reports: I asked: "O Prophet of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam), What did the Almighty Allah first create?" The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) replied:"Allah first created my Noor (Light) of His Noor. This Noor travelled about according to the Will of Allah. At that time, there was no Heaven, Hell, Lawh (Divine Tablet), Pen, Earth, Skies, Sun, Moon, Jinn or Human Beings. When He decided to create, He divided that Noor into four parts. From one part He created the Pen, from the second, the Lawh and from the third, he made the Arsh (Throne)."He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From one, He created those Angels who carry the Arsh, from the second, the Kursi (Divine Chair) and from the third, He created the Angels."He again divided the remaining parts into a further four parts. From one, He created the skies. The second was used in creating the planets. From the third, Heaven and Earth were created."Once again, He divided the fourth part into a further four parts. From one part He created the power with which the believers see. From the second, He created in the hearts of the Believers the Noor of Marifat. From the third, He created in the tongues of the Believers, Noor, so that they can read the Kalima of Tauheed". (Dalaa'il-un-Nubuwwat, Imam Baihaqi) Hadrat Ghouz al- Azam, Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani Radi Allahu anhu in his book( Sirrul-asraar feemaa Yahtaaju illahil Abrrar ) has said:" Now that since Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala first created the soul of Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam from the Light of His beauty as He said: "I created Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallamfrom the light of My face" and as the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said; " The first thing Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'alaCcreated is my Soul and the first thing Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala Created is this pen and the first thing Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'alaCreated is the intellect." What is meant by all this, is, it is one and the same thing, and that is the 'Haqeeqa Muhammadiyya'. However, it ws named a Light because it is completely Purified from darkness, as Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala said;"There has come to you from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala a Light and a manifest book ."It was also named intellect because it is the cause for the transmission of knowledge, and the pen it its medium in the world of letters. The Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam soul (ar-Rooh al- Muhammadiyya) is therefore the quintessence of all created things and the first of them and their origin, as the Beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said;" I am from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala and the belivers are from me, and Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala created all souls from me in the spritual world, and He did so in the best form. It is the name of totality of mankind in that primmordial world, and after its creation by four thousand years, AllahSubhanahu wa Ta'ala Created the Throne from the Light of Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallamhimself and from it the rest of Creation.   2) It is on the authority of Hazrat Abu Moosa Ash’ari (radi Allahu anhu) that the beloved Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, “I am Muhammad and Ahmed and I am the one who came after all the Prophets (Khaatimun Nabiyeen) and I am the one who will give Hashr to the creation (in other words all will be present before the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) on Maidaan-e-Hashr) and I am the Prophet of Mercy.” (Musnad Imam Ahmed – Muslim)   3) The blessed blood of the beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is Paak (pure). During the Battle of Uhud, the beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) was wounded. Sayyiduna Malik bin Sunaan (radi Allahu anhu), the father of Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri (radi Allahu anhu), began to suck out the blood from the wound of the beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and it began to look white. The Sahaba asked him to spit it out. He refused to do so and said, "I swear by Allah that I will never spit this blood out of my mouth." He then drank the blessed blood of the Beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). The Beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Whichever one of you wishes to see a Jannati man, you should look at him (Hadrat Malik bin Sunaan)". (Shifa Shareef; Madarijun Nabuiwat)   4) The blessed perspiration of Sayyiduna Muhammad Mustapha (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) possessed a sweet smelling fragrance. Sayyiduna Umme Salim (radi Allahu anha), the mother of Sayyiduna Anas (radi Allahu anhu), said that the beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) used to go to the house of Sayyiduna Umme Salim (radi Allahu anha) to make Qailula (rest after lunch). Sayyiduna Umme Salim (radi Allahu anha) used to lay for him a bedspread made from skin. He used to lie on that skin and he perspired very much. Sayyiduna Umme Salim (radi Allahu anha) used to collect the blessed perspiration of the beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and mix it in perfume. The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) asked, "O Umme Salim! What is this?" She said, "Ya Rasoolallah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam)! It is your blessed perspiration. I mix it in my perfume because your blessed perspiration is the best perfume amongst all perfumes." (Mishkaat Shareef; Bukhari Shareef)   5) The beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "I will intercede for my Ummah until my Creator summons me, 'O Muhammad Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam! Have you been pleased?' I will say, 'O my Creator! I am pleased?". (Durr Manthur; Roohul Bayaan)   6) It is reported by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (radi Allahu anhuma) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said:"Indeed this entire world is in front of me so that I can observe everything in it. I can see everything in this world and everything that will take place till the Day of Qiyamah. I see the entire world as I see the palm of my hand". (Mawahib-e-Ladunnia)   7) On the Day of Qiyamah, all the people will congregate and they will say among themselves, "We wish we could find some one to intercede for us in the Court of Allah Ta'ala so that He may give us comfort at this point." They will go to Sayyiduna Adam (alaihis salaam) and ask him to intercede for them. He will tell them to go to Sayyiduna Nooh (alaihis salaam) as he is the first Nabi that Allah Ta'ala sent towards the people on earth.Sayyiduna Nooh (alaihis salaam) will tell them to go to Sayyiduna Ibrahim (alaihis salaam) as he is the Friend of Allah Ta'ala. He in turn will tell them to go to Sayyiduna Moosa (alaihis salaam) as he is a special servant of Allah Ta'ala. He will say to them to go to Sayyiduna 'Isa (alaihis salaam) as he is the special servant and Rasool of Allah Ta'ala, and His Kalma and His Rooh. The people will then present themselves before Hadrat 'Isa (alaihis salaam) who will say, "This is not my job. Go into the court of Sayyiduna Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) who is a unique servant of Almighty Allah Ta'ala and it is through him that Almighty Allah has forgiven those before and after him." Then SARWAR-E-KONAIN (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "They will come to me. I will ask for permission in the Court of Almighty Allah and permission will be granted. When I see Almighty Allah, I will make Sajdah and Almighty Allah will say, 'O Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam)! Lift up your head, ask, request and it will be given, and intercession will be accepted'." (Bukhari Shareef; Ibn Majah)   8) SARWAR-E-KONAIN MUHAMMAD MUSTAFA MUJTABA(sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "I am the one who distributes and Almighty Allah is the One who gives." (Bukhari; Umdatul Qari)   9) Hazrat Ubaada bin Saamit (radi Allahu anhu) reports that he heard the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) saying, “That person who testifies that there is none worthy of worship except One Allah and Hazrat Muhammad (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) is the Chosen Prophet of Allah, Almighty Allah declares the fire of hell haraam upon him.” (Muslim-Mishkaat)   10) Hazrat Abu Musa (radi Allahu anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, "A time will come upon the people when a person will wander about with gold as Zakaat and will not find anybody to accept it, and one man will be seen followed by forty women to be their guardian because of scarceness of men and great number of women.” (Bukhari)   11) Sayyiduna Ali (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "For that person who reads a hundred Durood Shareefs on Jummah, then on the Day of Qiyamah, he will be accompanied by a Noor, whose intensity is so brilliant if it had to be distributed among the creation, it would serve all". (Dalaa'ilul Khayraat)   12) The Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, "One who hears my remembrance and does not send Durood upon me is the greatest miser." (Mishkaat)    13) Sayyiduna Ali Hameed Saaidi (radi Allahu anhu) has reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "If any of you enters the Mosque, send Salaams to me, followed by this Du'a: 'O Allah! Open your Door of Blessing for me". (Abu Dawud, Ibne Majah, Baihaqi) This Hadith proves that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is present in every Mosque of this world and according to Islam, the entire earth is a Mosque for the Muslims, as reported by Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (radi Allahu anhu) that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "The entire earth has been made a Mosque for me". (Bukhari Shareef) Thus, the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) is present everywhere on earth!   15) Sayyiduna Abi bin Ka'ab (radi Allahu anhu) reports that the GLORIOUS Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "On the Day of Qiyamah, I will be the Leader and Khatib of all the Ambiya (alaihums salaam) and I will be the master of their intercession. I do not say this out of arrogance." (Mishkaat Shareef; Ash'atul Lam'aat)   16) Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, "Allah will not look on the Day of Judgment at him who drags his robe (behind him) out of pride." Abu Bakr said "One side of my robe slacks down unless I get very cautious about it." Allah's Apostle said, "But you do not do that with a pride." (Bukhari)   17) Hazrat Jaabir (radi Allahu anhu) reports that the Holy Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, “That person who has these three things in him will be granted a place under the shade of Allah’s Arsh (Throne) on the day on which there will be no shade except this. He, who makes wudhu even when it is difficult, goes by foot to the Musjid even in the dark and feeds the hungry. (Mishkaat)   18) "Those who are not kind and merciful on the mankind, then Allah is not kind and merciful to them as well.” (Sahih Bukhari & Muslim)   19) Hazrat Ali-e-Murtuza (radi Allahu anhu) states, "When the Beloved of Allah (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam)used to speak then Noor could be seen emerging from between his blessed teeth."(Mawahib)    20) Hazrat Ibn Abbas (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, "If a worldly person is given two jungles full of wealth, then he will still desire a third jungle of wealth and the stomach of such a (greedy) man will only be filled with the sand of the grave and nothing else." (Muslim)   21) Hazrat Anas bin Maalik (radi Allahu anhu) reports that the Holy Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, “That Namaaz which is performed in its appointed time, and the wudhu for it is completely correct and in the Namaaz there is humility and sincerity, and the Qiyaam (standing) and the Ruku and Sujood is done properly, then the Namaaz of that person comes out white and shining and says, ‘May Allah protect you like you have protected me and for those who read Namaaz in the incorrect time and who do not make proper wudhu and who not read with humility and who do not performt the Ruku and Sujood correctly, then his Namaaz comes out black and dark and says, ‘May Allah destroy you, like you have destroyed me’ Then when it reaches there where Allah Wills, it is wrapped up, just like how old clothes are wrapped and it is then thrown onto the face of that Namaazi.” (Tibrani)   22) Hazrat Bahr ibn Hakeem (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, "Anger destroys ones Imaan like aloe destroys honey." (Bahihaqi)   23) Hadrat Uthman bin Haniff (radi Allahu anhu) says that a blind man came to the court of the Beloved Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Pray for me that I may regain my sight." The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Go and perform ablution and read two Raka'ats of Nafil Salaah and read this Du'a: 'O Allah! Verily I ask of You and towards You I use the mediation of Nabi-e-Rahmat, Muhammad Mustapha (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam). O Muhammad! Verily I turn through your Wasila to Your Creator for my needs so that my needs may be fulfilled. O Allah, accept the intercession of Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) for me". (Ibn Maja; Shifa Shareef)    24) Hazrat Anas (radi Allahu anhu) states, "The day on which Huzoor (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) arrived in Madinatul Munawwara every thing in Madinatul Munawwara became bright and radiant through his Noor." (Tirmizi Shareef)    25) Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) reported the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) as saying, "If any one of you improves (follows strictly) his Islamic religion then his good deeds will be rewarded ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and a bad deed will be recorded as it is." (Bukhari)   26) Food is a graciousness of Allah so do not waste it. Nothing should be left in the plate to be thrown off. (Muslim)   27) Hadrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu anhu said: the beloved Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam was asked to curse the infidels. He said,"I have not been sent to curse people but as a mercy to all mankind." (Muslim)   28) The Prophet (sallallahu alaiyhi wassallam) said, “Whoever is pleased that Allah answers his prayers during hardships and difficulties, let him make much supplication in times of ease.”(Hasan, at-Tirmidhi)   29) Hadrat Ibn Abbas and Hadrat Jabir (Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhum) have narrated that "The first reward given to the believer in his grave is that all who attended his funeral are granted forgiveness and the believer is informed of it". (Baihaqi)   30) Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu) narrates that the Most Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu Ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam) said "That a Muslim has six claims over the Muslims, one of which is to accompany his funeral". (Muslim)   31) Hadrat Ali  'Sher-e-Khuda' (Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu) has narrated that the Most Beloved Prophet of Allah, Hadrat Muhammad Mustafa (Salla Allahu Ta'ala 'alayhi wa 'aalihi wa Sallam) said that whosoever buries a dead body, shrouds, perfumes, helps in lifting at the funeral, offers funeral prayers and at the same time refrains from mentioning his shortcomings to anyone, becomes so purified from sins, it was as if he is born presently. (Ibn Majah)   32) The best sadqa is that a muslim man learns knowlege [of the Deen] and then teaches it to his Muslim brothers. (Ibn-e-Majah)   33) Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (radi Allahu anhu) heard the Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) saying, When a servant accepts Islam and his Islam is good, then Allah shall forgive all his sins which he committed before accepting Islam, and reckoning will commence after this. For every good deed, he will be rewarded ten folds up to seventy folds and for every bad deed, he will have one sin. It can also be so, that Allah may pardon him.(Bukhari Shareef)   34) Hazrat Maalik bin Anas (radi Allahu anhu) reportes that the Holy Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, “I have left behind for you two such things, to which if you hold firmly, you shall never go astray. One is the Book of Allah (Quran) and the other the Sunnats of your Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) (i.e. Hadith). (Mishkaat)    35) The Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) collected all his companions in this place and delivered a brief sermon. After praising and Glorifying the Lord he(sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said " 0 People I am a mortal. Possibly, Allah's angel may come and I have to accept (his message i.e. death). I leave behind you two weighty things. First of them is the Book of Allah(Quran Shareef) in which is guidance and light. Hold the Book of Allah firmly. Second is my Ahlul Bait, I remind you of Allah through my Ahlul Bait."He repeated the last statement thrice This is a tradition from Sahih Muslim in the chapter of Manaqeb Hazrat Ali (alaih salaam), Nisaai, Musnad-e- Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, Tirmidhi, Tabarani, Haakim-e-Neshapouri etc. have some more sentences too in which the glorification of Hazrat Ali (alaih salaam) are quite evident. In these traditions one sentence is quite common and that is :- "Man Kunto Maula Fahaza Ali Maula" meaning " Of  whomsoever I am his Master, Ali is His Master. 0 Allah, help him who helps Ali and be his enemy who is Ali's enemy". Clear explanation in the traditions are not found as to what was the necessity for these statements. In Sahih-e-Bukhari, it is mentioned that Hazrat Ali (alaih salaam) was sent to Yemen during this time and on his return, participated in the Haj journey. There, in Yemen, he did something on his own authority which was not liked by some of his co-travellers One of them on returning, complained to the Holy Prophet about Ali's (alaih salaam) action. The Holy Prophet replied that Ali (alaih salaam) had the right to do more than this. It's not surprising that to dispel such doubts, the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) uttered these statements.(Seeratun Nabi, Vol. 1)   36) Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) reports that the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "The example of myself and the Nabis before me, is like the example of a person who built a house. He built the house very beautifully, but he left out a brick in one corner of the building. People walk around the house and are astonished why the one brick has not been put in." The Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "I am that brick (example) and I am the Final Nabi (Khatimun Nabiyyeen)."(Bukhari Shareef)   37) "The reward of deeds depends on intentions..." (Bukhari & Muslim)   38) Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam said: "Recite the Qur'aan. For on the Day of Resurrection, it shall come as an intercessor for its companion." (Muslim)   39) On the authority of Zayd ibn Arqam( radhiallaahu anhu) that the Messenger of Allaah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam used to say, "O Allaah, I seek refuge in you from knowledge which does not benefit, from a heart which does not feel humble, from a soul that does not feel contended and from an invocation that is not answered." (Muslim)   40) The beloved sahabi of Huzoor Pur Noor (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) Hadrat Anas (radi Allahu Anhu states,"The day on which Huzoor (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) arrived in Madinatul Munawwara then through his noor every thing in Madinatul Munawwara became bright." (Ref : Tirmizi Shareef pg 202 vol 2 - Mishkaatul masabih pg 547 - Ibn Majah Shareef pg 119 - Tabqaate ibn Sa'ad pg 221 vol 1 - Muwahibul ladaniyah pg 68 vol 1 - Anwaarul Muhammadiyah pg 38 - Zirkaani Shareef, Seerate Halbia pg 234 vol 2 - Jawahirul Bihar pg 60 - Khasaisul Kubra pg 471 vol 1 - Madarijun Nabuiwat pg 81 vol 2 - Mustadrik pg 12 vol 3 - Talkheesul Mustadrik pg 12 vol 3)   41) The Messenger(sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said, "Indeed the cure for ignorance is to ask." [Reported by Ahmed, Abu Daawood and Ibn Maajah. (Hasan)]   42) The Holy Prophet Salla Allahu ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam said: "Affliction caused by the tongue is worse than (that caused by) the strike of the blade of a sword."   43) Hadhrat Ibn Mas'ood (Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Muhammad(sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said: "Unite Hajj and Umrah (during Hajj period). Both (acts of Ibaadat) eliminate poverty and sins in a similar way in which the impurities of gold, silver and iron are eliminated. The reward of Hajj which was performed correctly is nothing other that Jannat." (Mishkaat)   44) Hazrat Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "Almighty Allah has not created any sickness for which he has not sent down the cure (medicine)." (Bukhari Shareef)   45) Love for the Prophet(sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) should be more than one’s love for himself, his children, family and worldly possessions. The Prophet said, what translated means: "None of you will reach belief till I become dearer to him than his children, parents and all humans." (Al-Bukhari & Muslim)   46) I shall be his intercessor on the day of Qiyaamah, for him, who comes to me with the sole intention of making my ziyaarat alone and nothing else has brought him here.(Daar)   47) “O people, you must be calm, for rush and hurrying is not righteousness.” (Al Bukhari )   48) Imam Bukhari (rahmatullah alaihi) narrates that the Holy Prophet(sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said that ALLAH says,"My servant comes nearer to me by nafl worships upto this that I begin to love him and when I love him I become his ear by which he listens and I become his eyes by which he sees. (Saheehul Bukhari)   49) Hazrat Saeed Bin Museeb Radi Allahu anhu says that when the Yazidi forces plundered Madinah after the tragedy in Karbala, azan or Salaah did not take place in Masjid Nabwi for three days. He was near the Qabr-e-Anwar of holy prophet(sal-lal-laho-tala-alaihi-wasalm) for three days and had no idea when it was prayer time except for the fact that he heard the Azan come from the Qabr-e-Anwar.(Mishkat Sharif)    50) Imam Muslim in his Saheeh and other scholars in their books narrate that the Holy Prophet (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) says,"When ALLAH Almighty loves a person so he calls Jabrail alaihis salam and says that O Jabrail I love my so and so servant you also love him.Hence Jabrail alaihis salam also loves him. Then Jabrail alaihis salam announces in the skies that ALLAH loves his so and so servant you also love him than all of the dwellers of skies love him. Then he is made beloved among the dwellers of the earth".   51) The Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) has declared:Fear Allah regarding women. Verily, you have married them with the trust of Allah, they have rights over you in respect of their food, clothing and lodging. (Bukhari)   52) Hazrat Ibn Umar (radi Allahu anhu) states, "Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) told me, "Say Bismillah, Eat with your right hand and eat of that which is before you." (Bukhari)   53) The Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said, "One who recites Durood upon me fifty times daily will be blessed with this blessing, that I will make musafaha (shake hands) with him on the day of Qiyaamat.(Al Qaulul Badi’)   54) Hazrat Sahl ibn Sa`ad (radi Allahu anhu) narrates: The Beloved Rasool (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) came out and met Abu Talha. The latter rose and went to him saying: "My father and mother be sacrificed for you, O Rasoolullah (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam)! I see joy and delight in your expression?" The Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) said: "Yes, for Jibraeel (alaihis salaam) has just come to me saying: O Muhammad (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) , whoever among your Community invokes blessings upon you once, Allah records for Him ten meritorious deeds, erases from his register ten evil deeds, and raises him ten degrees because of it." (Al-Sakhawi)   55) It is on the authority of Hazrat Amr bin Shuaib (radi Allahu anhu), who narrated from his father who narrated from his father that the Prophet (sall Allaho alaihi wasallam) is reported to have said, "Eat, drink, give sadqa and dress up, as long as there is no wasting and pride in what you do." (Ibn Majah)   56) Nabi Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said, "When you meet a Haji, then first convey upon him your salaams and after doing so, make musafaha and Muaanaqa with him and request of him to make dua for your forgiveness before he enters your home, for he has been forgiven." (Muatta Imam Ahmad)   57) Narrated 'Anas (Razi Allah ho Anho) : The fact which stops me from narrating a great number of Ahadith to you is that the prophet (Sal Allah ho Alaihi Wasallam) said, "Whoever tells a lie against me intentionally, then (surely) let him occupy his seat inn Hell-fire." (Sahih Al-Bukhari, Hadith No. 108, Vol. 1)   58) Hadrat Ali (Radi Allahu ta'ala anhu) narrates ''once Rasulullah (Salla Allahu ta'ala alayhi wa Sallam) and I journeyed from Makkah, and every tree and stone that we passed said aloud, ''Assalaamu alaika Ya Rasulullah! (Blessings and salutations upon you, O Beloved Prophet)" (Tirmidhi Sharif )

(59) ( Translation : Eng-Yusuf Ali ) سورة آل عِمرَان عیسیٰ کا حال خدا کے نزدیک آدم کا سا ہے کہ اس نے (پہلے) مٹی سے ان کا قالب بنایا پھر فرمایا کہ (انسان) ہو جا تو وہ (انسان) ہو گئے (۵۹)     سُوۡرَةُ آل عِمرَان ۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصۡطَفَىٰٓ ءَادَمَ وَنُوحً۬ا وَءَالَ إِبۡرَٲهِيمَ وَءَالَ عِمۡرَٲنَ عَلَى ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (٣٣)   [A/I`mran 3:33] Indeed Allah chose Adam, and Nooh, and the Family of Ibrahim, and the Family of Imran over the creation. But on their hearts is the Rân (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn[] (14) (Translation : Eng-Dr. Mohsin)   سورة المطفّفِین دیکھو یہ جو (اعمال بد) کرتے ہیں ان کا ان کے دلوں پر زنگ بیٹھ گیا ہے (۱۴)       Malik :: Book 56 : Hadith 56.7.18 Malik related to me that he heard that Abdullah ibn Masud used to say, "The slave continues to lie and a black spot grows in his heart until all his heart becomes black. Then he ".is written, in Allah's sight, among the liars             The first stage of purification - Purification of the seven organs of the body In the first stage one tries to purify the seven organs of the body. With these organs people do good deeds or bad deeds. 1) Tongue 2) Eyes 3) Hands 4) Ears 5) Feet 6) Private parts 7) Stomach When one commits a sin with any one of these organs then a black spot appears on the heart. If that person does not repent then slowly the whole heart becomes darkened and then that person fails to differentiate between the truth, falsehood, good and bad thus the heart becomes blind. The method to purify these organs is that a person should start to purify one organ at a time. If he can simultaneously save all seven organs from committing sins then he should start the second stage of the path, which is purification of the mind.   Second Stage of the Tareeq Purification of the Mind   Third Stage of the Tareeq Purification of Heart and Soul   Fourth Stage of the Tareeq Illumination of the Soul       A BASIC GUIDE TO FIQH FOR PURIFICATION (TAHARAH, WUZU, GHUSL) AND SALAH (FIVE TIMES PRAYERS)   In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate, Praise be to Allah, Lord of all the Worlds       THE JOURNEY OF THE HUMAN SOUL‘ADM (In other words there was nothing in existence apart from Allah) PLEASE CLICK THE LINKS:  http://www.zawiyah.org/About%20TM_1.htm   http://www.zawiyah.org/Purification_1.htm   PLEASE CLICK THE LINK: TO Download Tariqah-Muhammadiyyah-English:   http://www.quranedu.com/socialnetwork/m/store/view/Tariqah-Muhammadiyyah-English   PLEASE CLICK THE LINK: TO Download Tareeqh Muhammadyah  (Urdu): http://www.quranedu.com/socialnetwork/m/store/view/Tareeqh-Muhammadyah-Urdu   PLEASE CLICK THE LINK FOR MORE INFORMATION: http://www.quranedu.com/socialnetwork/m/sites/view/MEDINA-GHOSIA-EDUCATION-CENTRE

Please feel free to email me your comments and suggestions. If you wish to use these stories in your own website please add my link to yours as well as not changing anything on the stories as they are apart of Ibn Kathir's version and by changing it you are making it your own words when it is not. Again these are not my own actual words, nor my own stories, and none of these are out of my own research. They were taken from the Ibn Kathir's version and I got permission from the publishers back in early 1998 to publish it onto my website in order to get the message across. None of these are my own words so please do not ask me to do more research on this behalf. Till then take care. Please be patient as I'm adding more things as I go along MENU  PROPHETS IN ISLAM 1. "Alsunna", being the name of our site means the sayings and doings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him, his kind family and companions). Our Call to Muslims (عليكم بالجماعة واياكم والفرقة) Follow Jama^ah and Be Warned from factions. That's our call for the Muslims, to unite and adhere to the Jama^ah of the Muslims. And that would be by adhering to what the scholars of the four schools have deduced from al-Qur'an and Alsunna. We, the team at alsunna.org, set the goal of spreading the true Islamic concepts taken from our Holy Book, al-Quran, and from the sayings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ^Alayhi wa Sallam, and the doings of his honorable companions and the unanimous agreement of the Muslims, moderately in a simple and easy way away from extremism. guidedways.com —   Quran Hadith Prayer Timings Videos Forum Downloads Shop More Services Support << Home << September 12, 2011 What is Hadith Qudsi Forty Hadith Qudsi Imam Nawawi's Forty Hadith and Forty Hadith Qudsi are widely regarded as the most popular anthology and the best introduction to the study of the Prophet's Sayings in the English language. The hadith summarize the essential teachings of Islam, concentrating on the following areas: affirmation of the doctrine of tawhid and understanding Allah (swt) in all His attributes, the significance of the five pillars of Islam, attainment of virtue, self-sacrifice for the cause of Allah (swt) and preparation for the day of judgement. The Hadith Qudsi, or sacred hadith, have a particularly important status because their meaning is entirely from Allah (swt) while the wording is that of the Prophet Muhammad (s) himself. For each of the eighty hadith presented, the Arabic original has been printed alongside the English translation, which has earned a reputation for its scholastic accuracy and readability Among the many definitions given by the early scholars to Sacred Hadith is that of as-Sayyid ash-Sharif al-Jurjani (died in 816 A.H.) in his lexicon At-Tarifat where he says: "A Sacred Hadith is, as to the meaning, from Allah the Almighty; as to the wording, it is from the messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It is that which Allah the Almighty has communicated to His Prophet through revelation or in dream, and he, peace be upon him, has communicated it in his own words." The hadith qudsi are the sayings of the Prophet divinely communicated to him. The present collection has been compiled from all the available books of hadith. The forty chosen here are all well authenticated and present many of the doctrinal, devotional and ethical elements of Islam. [The Above taken from : An introduction to the subject and select sample texts, see e.g. Ibrahim Izzuddin and Denis Johnson-Davies: Forty Hadith Qudsi, Beirut, Damascus, 1980.] Note: While the common factor between hadith qudsi and the Qur'an is that both contain words from Allah which have been revealed to Muhammad, the main points of difference between Qur'an and hadith qudsi are as follows: In the Qur'an the precise wording is from Allah, while in the hadith qudsi the wording is given by the Prophet Muhammad. The Qur'an has been brought to Muhammad only by the Angel Gabriel, while hadith qudsi may also have been inspired otherwise, such as e.g. in a dream. The Qur'an is inimitable and unique, but not so the hadith qudsi. The Qur'an has been transmitted by numerous persons, (tawatur) but the hadith and hadith qudsi often only by a few or even one individual. There are hadith qudsi which are sahth, but also others hasan, or even da'if, while there is no doubt at all about any aya from the Qur'an. Another point is that a hadith qudsi cannot be recited in prayer. zawiyah.org —      THE JOURNEY OF THE HUMAN SOUL'ADM   WATCH:http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCC6B7F03FFE501D0&feature=viewalll   THE JOURNEY OF THE HUMAN SOUL‘ADM (In other words there was nothing in existence apart from Allah) Everything that one can see all around oneself such as the sky, sun, moon, birds, animals, rivers and mountains were not created by themselves and nor were they created by mankind. They were not in pre‐existence and likewise Angels, paradise, hell, The Throne of Allah, The Divine Chair, The Sacred Tablet and The Pen also did not exist, and there was only Allah and nothing else. Allah created the whole of the universe including human and jinn only to know recognition and worship Him. Humans did not bring themselves into existence. That is the reason why they cannot live the kind of life they desire. Rather they should live the life according to the way their Creator wills for them. This is the only way that they can be successful forever. In Surah Mulk Allah the Exalted mentions “He has created death and life that He may test you which of you is best in deed”. (Meaning of the translation). The Realm of spiritsAllah created all of the spirits and asked them “Am I not your Lord?” Every spirit amongst mankind replied “Yes, Oh Allah You are our Lord”. Since the spirits testified to the Oneness of Allah, they have been sent to this world and are given a body in order to prove practically for what they testified in the World of Spirits. The temporal world (Dunya)The spirit has been sent in this world for a short period of time as a test. It has been given a body, which has different types of needs and desires. The test being that the person either uses their body to obey the command of Allah Ta’la and follow the way of The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), or will he follow the devil and his own desires. The Intermediate world (Barzakh ‐ life after death)The place where a person will reside in after death until the day of judgement is known as the barzakh (grave). Here the choice of a person ends. His grave will either become a garden of bliss or a pit of fire due to the bad deeds he did in the world. This world exists in a different dimension. The human eye cannot see the other side. The Day of judgementThis Day while be 50,000 years long according to time scale. In this one day many worldly lives can be relived. On this day every person will have to give account for each and every second. In particular his youth and where he spent his resources and how he earned his wealth and what he spent it on. He will also be most certainly asked in regards to how much he acted upon his knowledge. For the pious people this day will pass very swiftly. On this day there will be three courts. First court: The court of faith (Iman), disbelief (Kufr) and, oneness of Allah (Tauheed) and polytheism (Shirk)1) In the first court, questioning will take place in regards to a person’s belief In the oneness of Allah and about any partners that he ascribed to Him, in Other words what were his beliefs. Did he deny the existence of Allah and The Messenger of Allah, the supreme sent through Messengers or did he Believe.Second court: The court in relation to Allah’s rights2) In the second court questioning will take place in regards to the rights of Allah and His Messenger Peace be upon him, for example Prayer, Fasting, Charity, Pilgrimage and whether or not one acted in contrary to the Prophetic way of life (Sunnahs). Also in relation to the Quran, as to how much did he act upon its teachings.Third court: The court in relation to the rights of Allah’s creation3) The third court will be in regards to the rights of mankind and othercreation. In this court questioning will take place regarding wealth, honour, fulfilment of the rights of people, animals and environment. The Life in HellIf out of His Grace and Mercy Allah does not forgive the rebellious and sinful People they will be spending a very long time in the scorching heat, valleys and rivers of Hellfire which will be made out of fire and filthy discharges of the people of Hell. The nonbelievers will abide therein forever whereas the Believers will be taken out after a period of time. The everlasting life of ParadiseThose people who believed and led a pious life and safeguarded themselves from sin, Allah Ta’la through His infinite mercy and grace will inhabit them forever in Paradise. The paradise of a normal inhabitant will be many times bigger than this world. Every dweller of paradise will have the height of Prophet Adam, beauty of Prophet Yusuf, age of Prophet Isa, voice of Prophet Daud, and the character of our Master Muhammad (Peace be upon them all). Allah the Majestic will directly speak to the people and show them his unrivalled and unmatched beauty. In paradise there will be no sickness, death or any other problems or difficulties. It will be for those people who have pleased their Lord in this World.SummarySo that mankind can save themselves from the punishment of Hellfire and enter paradise a person is trained in this path as how to purify his body, mind and soul from the sins and then how to maintain their purity – this is known as Self-purification (Tazkiyah Nafs). After a person purifies himself he becomes the beloved of Allah and Allah the exalted becomes pleased and happy with that person, or else after death an extremely painful torment awaits him. Some fundamental questions and their answers.Question: What is the objective of this path?Answer: The Pleasure of Allah in other words to please Allah, the Lord of theWorlds Question: How can I please Allah, the Creator of all?Answer: In order to please Allah one must do four things 1) Give preference to Allah and His commandTo give preference to Allah over all falsehood and false gods and to give preference to His commands by controlling ones desires in compliance with the divine commands through practical struggle. 2) Give preference to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and honouring Hisway of life and teachings. To give preference to the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) over all leaders and role models and to give preference to His way of life (Peace be upon him) over all false and opposing ways of life and life styles by adopting the Prophetic way in all spheres of life and leaving what opposes it. 3) Compassion upon creationTo fulfil the rights of Allah’s creation and have compassion upon them according to teachings of Quran and Sunnah by protecting life, honour, wealth and the environment. Also try to save them from the punishment of hereafter by giving them good advice and warning them of the bad consequences of bad deeds. 4) Presence of AllahTo always be in the presence of Allah, with the inner self and the heart and to maintain this presence by remembering that Allah is with me, watching me, hears everything I say and as a consequence to choice to do the appropriate actions in one’s life. Question: Describe those states and experiences things that don’t necessarily lead to the closeness of Allah and neither are they objectives that need to be achieved nor should one aim for them. Answer: States and spiritual experiences, which are not within the choice of a personThe points written below are non‐objectives and are not necessary:1. To see good dreams2. To see visions and occurrence of miracles (Karamat)3. Divine inspiration (Ilham) or similar states4. To see lights and illuminations whilst meditating or performing remembrance of Allah5. Having permission to blow for the sake of curing and healing through supplication and recitation of Quran, to perform seemingly super‐natural arts and tricks and have permission to give charms (ta’weez)6. To control jinns and to perform exorcism7. Increase in wealth or business8. To be cured from physical and mental illness9. Claim to be able to predict the future and to be able to read minds10. To have success in civil matters and worldly affairs11. To achieve such a state where one will automatically start doing good and will abandon sin without having to do any effort on one’s part12. To achieve such a state for one not to have any evil thoughts or whispers13. Increase in offspring14. Someone else will take the responsibility of our salvation while you do not abide by divine law (Shariah) and are still indulged in sinful life15. Hope to reach a station where one is not even inclined at the least towards any sin16. The movement or activation of subtle bodies (Latifa) (This is a experience inwhich some people feel a pulse beat in different areas of chest similar to the heart beat but more strongly).17. To attain respect in the eyes of people 18. Circumstances to always be in your favour19. Enjoyment in worship20. Some of the above things and claims are contrary to Shariah like prediction of future and mind reading. All of the above matters are not objectives or goals. Some are praiseworthy and some are condemnable. The true objectiveThe above mentioned are not the objective however the objective is to attain the pleasure of Allah and the greatest way to achieve this is by following the blessed life of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) in all aspects. Some major aspects are listed below.1) Beliefs – In other words what are the beliefs of a person in relation to Allah His Angels, His Messengers, Books and the Hereafter2) Worship – Prayer, Fasting, Pilgrimage, Charity, Remembrance andRecitation3) Transaction and dealings – Financial transactions and business.4) Social life – Normal day‐to‐day activities such as dressing, eating, drinking, and sleeping etc.5) Character – To try and attain the inward qualities of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon be him) such as:Patience (Sabr) (not to react in contrary to Shariah in times of calamity or happiness, neither with the tongue, heart or body)Sincerity (Ikhlas) (To do worshipful actions purely for the pleasure of Allah and not for any worldly gain)Gratitude (Shukr) (To understand that blessings are all from Allah and not from your own doings and not to misuse them in the disobedience of Allah)Remembrance (To always be in the presence of Allah in mind, soul and heart by feeling that Allah is watching and to manifest this on the tongue and body through His praise and obedience) Reliance (To employ the means by keeping the vision and thought directed towards Allah’s power and control and to leave all matters and results with Allah)Abstinence (To discard any desires for the world in preference to theHereafter) Note: If other good states such as good dreams, enjoyment in worship areobtained apart from the above mentioned then one should thank Allah and if not then there is no need to worry as there will not be any loss in attaining Allah’s closeness and proximity.Question: What are the pre‐conditions to begin travelling on this path?Reply: In order to become a friend of Allah before becoming a traveller on this path there are three prerequisites to fulfil otherwise this journey cannot be accomplishedQuestion: what are the conditions?Answer: First condition: Correct Beliefs Aqeedah – The beliefs (Aqeedah) of a Muslim should be in accordance to the doctrine of Ahle‐Sunnah‐Wal‐Jam’ah. The Aqeedah informs a person what he should believe in and also how. Aqeedah has seven foundations. To believe in:1) Allah: To believe in Allah’s essence and all of His attributes and not to associate anyone with Him, in His attributes or His actions. Furthermore to believe that he does not resemble any of His creation and neither do they resemble Him. In addition, to believe that neither is He a part of any creation or nor is any of His creation a part of Him. He is beyond all thoughts and imaginations.2) Angels: To have faith in all of the Angels and to believe that they are allsinless. They do not disobey their Lord. They fulfil all the Commands of Allah 3) Books: To believe in all the heavenly Books that Allah Ta’la revealed but toonly follow the Quran, which is the final Book and the previously revealed Books have been abrogated i.e. the Gospel, Torah and psalms.4) Messengers: To believe in all the Prophets and Messengers and to believethat they are the greatest of all creation and that they are completely free from sin. However it is incumbent to only follow the footsteps of the Leader of both worlds and Imam of all the Prophets and Messengers, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).5) The Day of Judgement: To believe in the Day of Reckoning and that all of mankind and Jinns will be assembled in the Presence of Allah, includingthose that have passed away and all those that are to come. Allah with His infinite Grace and Mercy will bestow reward and with the His justice punish the wrongdoers. On that Day no one will be unjustly treated.6) Fate and destiny: To hold faith that the knowledge of Allah encompasses all time and places and He has power and control over all things. Whatever Hewills He does. The actions of all people are in His knowledge, however the person acts in accordance to his own will and Allah Ta’la does not force anyone. Out of Allah’s will the freedom of choice has been given to people. He is the Creator of all things and actions. He becomes pleased with good deeds and becomes displeased with sin. Goodness and evil, or any other thing for that matter is not outside the knowledge of Allah Ta’la. And furthermore to have the belief that he is free of all deficiencies and shortcomings i.e. to oppress lie etc.7) Life after death To have the belief that everyone will be resurrected afterdeath, after which a new chapter in a person’s life will begin lasting forever.Finality of Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) Our Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is the last of all Prophets and after that there will be no new Prophet to come. Whoever claims such a thing is an imposter and is out of the fold of Islam as well as those who follow him. Close to the end of time Prophet Jesus (Upon him be peace) will descend into this world as a follower of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) (not as a Prophet bringing new laws) by following the Quran and Sunnah and establishing Islamic rule on the whole of the earth. Companions and the Family of the Prophet (Peace be upon him)Hadrat Abu bakr Saddique, Hadrat Umar, Hadrat Othman, Hadrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with them all) are more virtous than all other companions. The Family of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), Hadrat Fatimah, Hadrat Hassan and Hussein (may Allah be pleased with them) are all leaders of the people of Paradise. All the companions are beloved to Allah Ta’la. All the wives of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) are mothers of all believers and must be respected, like Syyidah Khadeeja, Syyidah Aishah, Syyidah Hafsah (May Allah be pleased with them all) and others Whoever criticises them is cursed and whoever accuses them of disbelief himself is a disbeliever. The Friends of AllahThe pious people who follow the sunnah and please Allah Ta’la are known as the friends of Allah (Aulia Allah) and to disrespect them is an extremely unfortunate and lowly act. The Friend of Allah is he who strictly adheres to the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and follows the Shariah. If Allah wills miracles are performed at his hands, however this is not a condition Allah’s friendship. The greatest of all miracles is to remain steadfast on the Prophetic way of life (sunnah). The friends of the Satan (devil)Whoever opposes the Shariah (divine law) given by the holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and claims to be a friend of Allah (Wali) can never be a friend of Allah even though he may perform miracles such as flying, walking on water, mind‐reading or any other such acts, in fact, is a friend of satan. The abandonment of prayer and the continuous abandonment of the congregational prayer without a valid legal excuse, shaving of the beard, meeting of the opposite sex in seclusion and having physical contact with them, fortune‐telling are notqualities found in the Friend of Allah (wali). Through dreams, visions and divine inspiration there can never be any additions or omissions to the Shariah and whoever claims such a thing has become a follower of the satan and has gone astray. Included amongst them are those who outwardly do not establish the prayer and claim that their spirits are in contant worship and they we are not in any need of worship and obedience to sunnah because we have reached our destination.........yes they have most surely reached it, but the question is where?Answer: HELLFIRE and in the valleys of misguidance not closeness, pleasure and proximity of Allah. (Aqeedah‐Tahawiyah, Sharh Fiqh al‐Akbar, and Takmeel –ul – Iman) Beginning the journey to the Divine Presence (state of Ihsaan)When a person fulfils the three conditions, in others words: the correctness of Belief, learning of the important Islamic Fiqh rulings, and removing any shortcoming and deficiencies in fulfilling the rights of Allah and His creation.First and foremost he should be sincere in his intention that all this effort I am putting in is for success in the hereafter and to please Allah the Exalted, not for the sake of fame and name or any material benefits of this world. The first stage of purification ‐ Purification of the seven organs of the bodyIn the first stage one tries to purify the seven organs of the body. With these organs people do good deeds or bad deeds.1) Tongue 2) Eyes 3) Hands 4) Ears 5) Feet 6) Private parts 7) Stomach When one commits a sin with any one of these organs then a black spot appears on the heart. If that person does not repent then slowly the whole heart becomes darkened and then that person fails to differentiate between the truth, falsehood, good and bad thus the heart becomes blind. The method to purify these organs is that a person should start to purify oneorgan at a time. If he can simultaneously save all seven organs from committing sins then he should start the second stage of the path, which is purification of themind. To begin the first stage of the path, one must, with the pre requisite of repentance, repent from the sins listed on the given sheet, for example the tongue sheet. The methodology for doing this is, one should put effort and striveto meet the conditions of that given sheet, until he has consecutively for thirty days abstained from the sins listed. This is achieved by protecting himself from the sins of the tongue up until night‐time, upon which he should put a tick in thebox on the sheet. However if on the seventh day or any other day oneintentionally commits the sin related to the sheet then he must put a cross on and then offer the prayer of repentance (2 units) and repent with the conditions of repentance and start againAfter completing the tongue sheet one starts the ears sheet. Now the person is abstaining from the sins related to the tongue and ears. Now day by day he is attaining the nearness of Allah the Exalted. In this way one completes all the sheets. The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: ‘The person who indulges in bad deeds, then after that does good ones his likeness is of the person who is wearing an armour (metal war clothing) which is strangling his throat. He then does a good deed and one knot or button of the armour opens up then he doesthe second good deed which opens up the second link and as a result of this he begins to walk freely.’ (Meaning of the hadith not exact words)Hadrat Abdullah bin Masood mentions ‘One man came to the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) and began to say: Oh Messenger of Allah! I came across a woman in the garden – Other than having intercourse I did everything that was possible with her. I kissed her and I hugged her, other than that I did nothing – now you may do whatever you want with me. The Messengerof Allah (Peace be upon him) did not say anything to him. When that person went away Hadrat Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) said: ‘Allah the Exalted had veiled him, he should also have kept himself veiled. The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) kept on looking at that person, then he said: ‘Call him to me’. When the Honourable Companions called him the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) read the following verse to him: ‘And perform As‐Salah at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night [i.e. the five compulsory Salat (prayers)]. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice). (11:114)’Hadrat Muadh (May allah be pleased with him) then asked: ‘Oh Prophet of Allah (Peace be upon him) is this advice for him alone or is it for everyone?’ The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: ‘This concession is for everyone’. The second stage of purification ‐ Purification of the mindA person carries out a sin with the seven organs only when a sinful thought enters his mind and then with his heart he makes the intention to carry it out. The sin is presented in the form of a small sparkle and thought. At this point to save himself is easy however if it turns into a flame then it takes over the whole heart and mind which then leads to the organ of the person carrying out the sin. In this stage there are ten levels – In it the seeker is practically trained on a thirty day basis how to purify the mind from satanic and evil thoughts and once these thoughts do come, how to extinguish them.In the following stages the person is taught how to remain occupied in the remembrance of Allah. In the end the person who completes these ten levels willhave purified his thoughts and his mind will become firmly established in the remembrance of Allah and in the love of His Messenger (Peace be upon him). If a person does not even entertain any sinful thoughts then it will become easy to save himself from sins. Third stage of purification – Purification of the Heart and soulOther than the purification of the body, its organs and the mind there are certain sins that are invisible to the eye however they are extremely dangerous and they can take a person to hellfire for example envy, hatred, arrogance, ostentation, and excessive love of the world. In this stage these evil qualities are removed and in their place the good qualities such as patience, gratitude, humbleness, love ofAllah, abstinence (removal of the desire of the world from the heart) are planted. A person spends his whole life in one or more of these four states only:1) Obedience 2) Disobedience 3) Blessing 4) CalamityIn this stage a person a person is taught how to react in the right way to any one of these four states turning their current state into a blessing and in turn this will lead a person to a pure life (Hayatan Tayabah).1) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of obedience:Humility, humbleness, servant hood, and sincerity2) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of disobedience: Regret, shame, forgiveness and repentance3) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of blessing:Attributing the blessing to Allah and being thankful in the heart and using the blessing according to divine commands and not in the disobedience of Allah the exalted.4) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of calamity: Patience and refraining from sin and returning to AllahIn all of these there are ten levels in which the seeker is trained practically, mentally and spiritually It can be seen from the diagram that if a person chooses the right reaction whilst In any of these four states then his whole life becomes a blessing.Fourth Stage ‐ Divine closeness and pleasure and enlightenment of the soul and heart Respect and obedience to the TeacherWhen a person rectifies his belief, learns the necessary Islamic rulings, removes any shortcomings and deficiencies in fulfilling the rights of Allah and His creation, purifies the seven organs, the thoughts of the mind, and the soul (nafs) from the evil traits and replaces them with the praiseworthy ones, then the vessel of the seeker has become clean and purified. Now the time has come when his heart and inner self becomes enlightened with the Gnosis (the deep knowledge) of Allah and now the heavenly winds of Allah’s closeness and pleasure begin to whirl upon his soul. In this stage firstly the seeker completely follows the teachings and sayings of his Teacher and Guide and gains aportion of his states and stations. In other words he now completely follows his teacher and leaves the passions and desires of the evil self.Obedience and love of the Messenger (Peace be upon him)The result of following the Teacher is that the seeker now finds himself besides the blessed springs and fountains of the sayings, actions, states, stations and the essence of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and drinks from them according to his own level.Obedience and love of Allah The Exalted (Annihilation in Allah)When the seeker completely follows the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) to his own ability and level and his life becomes coloured in the colour of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) then Allah the Exalted makes him His beloved – After that the person wholeheartedly strives to follow the sayings and guidance’s of Allah and decorates himself with the praiseworthy attributes and then he drinks continously from the sacred rivers of Divine gnosis, closeness and pleasure. Now his outward and inward is enlightened with the love and obedience of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and Allah, the exalted and his heart and innerself always remain in the presence of Allah. The person begins to attain the stations of ‘Presence with Allah which is known as ‘Ihsaan’ (Perfection in servitude) in the Hadith.Station of calling the people to Allah the Majestic (Muqaam Dawah)When a person reaches this stage then upon him is two responsibilities:1) Wherever he has reached in the path he remains steadfast upon it. In otherwords continuously practice and strive and not to show slackness and laziness because it is comparatively easier to rise higher but difficult to keep yourself higher. When the servant feels he is strong, at that time very time he may be weak and vulnerable to the plans of devil and ego.2) According to the best of his abilities and power he calls the creation of Allah to Allah’s obedience and servitude beginning from one’s own nafs (ego) then family, then tribe, then locality, then city, country and then the whole world, inviting them to the obedience and Lordship of Allah and to the way of the Messenger of Allah, the Leader of the Prophets, our Master Muhammad (Peace be upon him).Hope & Fear (Khawf wa Raja)When a person reaches this station he should hope for the Pleasure and closeness of Allah and salvation in the hereafter. He should also have fear due to his shortcomings and deficiencies as one cannot worship Allah as He deserves to be worshiped and served. Now a person inwardly with the state of presence of Allah and outwardly with the Prophetic way of life (Sunnah) continuously flies to his goal which is the pleasure of Allah with two wings, namely hope and fear. Hope inthe Mercy of Allah and fear due to shortcomings in ones deeds and worship.Reliance on Allah (Tawakkul)Now as the servant is doing everything to the best of his abilities, he should not rely on this effort and deeds but from the heart and inner self, he should always be in a state of need and poverty towards Allah, the Lord of the worlds. As though his inner self keeps praying from the depths of the heart and soul “I can only attain Your Pleasure with Your Grace and Mercy, not because of my effort and deeds”. And whoever hopes from Allah His Mercy and Grace and adopts theappropriate means, Allah then deals with him according to His Mercy and Grace. The Day of Departure from the Earthy lifeThe servant of Allah in spite of doing his best according to his own abilities still fears as in which state he is going to leave this world in the state of faith (Iman) ordisbelief (Kufr), righteousness or sinfulness? Will angels from paradise descend to take me or angels from Hell? Will Allah be pleased with me or displeased? The devil tries to lead a person astray to the very end. The servant of Allah believes ifAllah will deal with me according to my deeds, then Hell is waiting for me but if Allah deals with me from His grace and mercy then a blissful life is waiting for me. May you be one of those who are addressed with the sweet address: "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction! Come back thou to thy Lord, ‐ well pleased (thyself), and well‐pleasing unto Him! Enter thou, then, among My devotees! Yea, enter thou My Heaven!" Peace and blessings be upon the Prophet and upon his family and companions. The Hasani and Hussainiy Sanads of Tareeqah Muhammadiyah Tareeqah Muhammadiyah ©
