These will be questioned and they will reply without knowledge. They are themselves misguided and misguide others.” (Hadith of the Prophet  in Sahih al-Bukhari)   “It can be ascertained that the troublemakers (al-mushaghibun) in our time, who claim that they belong to the school of the Salaf, outwardly making a show of such affiliation, do not in any way whatsoever belong to it: neither in knowledge nor in practice. They are propagators of falsehood, deception, and misguidance devoid of all guidance.” (Munir 'Abduh Agha) To proceed a demonstration of the reality of the esoteric science of Sufism: “Some formalists recognise only the science of the external religious law comprised in the Quran and the Sunna, and declare that the esoteric science, i. e. Tasawwuf or Sufism, is without meaning. In fact, however, the science of the religious law (Sharia) has an internal as well as an external aspect and inculcates inward as well as outward actions. The outward actions are bodily, such as hunger, fasting, almsgiving and the like, while the inward actions, or the actions of the heart, are faith, sincerity, knowledge of God, etc. The esoteric science signifies the science of the actions of the interior which depend on the interior organ, namely, the heart (al-qalb) and is identical with Sufism. The inward aspect of religion is the necessary complement of the outward aspect, and vice versa. Both aspects are inherent in the Quran, in the Traditions of the Prophet , and in Islam itself.”Abu Nasr `Abdallah b. `Ali al-Sarrâj al-Tusi (Kitab al-luma fi l-Tasawwuf) A Survey Of Decisive Arguments And Proof For Tasawwuf - Sufism in Islam* Edited by Omar K Neusser — This is the main page of our Tasawwuf section. bit.ly/12emm2k 1. The Basics of Tasawwuf (This chapter is by Shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi) 1- Definition: Purification of the heart.True devotion to Allah in the ways He likes by the means He likes.... Acting upon knowledge;Acquiring the good characters and getting rid of the bad. 2- Subject: Allah, as how He can be known; or hearts & souls, as how to purify them. 3- Fruit: The purification of the heart and knowing the Master of the worlds and attaining the Station of ihsân. 4- Merit: Tasawwuf is of high merit. Its nobility stems from its subject. Ihsân is one of the three levels of this deen and the highest. 5- Relation to other disciplines: It is the base of the Sharia; without it acts of worship become imperfect. It is the core of Quran and Sunnah and the tissue of Muslims spiritual life. 6- Name: The word "tasawwuf" is derrived from souf (wool). Tasawwuf has been known by this name since the second century of hijra, i.e. the time of the salaf. It has been frequently called `ilm as-Sulûk (initiatic traveling & spiritual behaviour), `ilm al-Ihsân, `ilm at-Tarbiyah (cultivation) or `ilm at-Tazkiyah (purification). 7- The pioneer: The pioneer of this branch of knowledge is of course the Prophet  . Many hadiths highlight the spiritual dimension of a Muslim's life.[2.2]The earliest scholar who elaborated on it is al-Hasan al-Basriy. 8- Sources: Tasawwuf is derived from Quran and Sunnah[2.1].The sayings of the great scholars represent a rich treasure for the seekers and the masters.[07] 9- Ruling: Acquiring tasawwuf is fard i.e. obligatory; since all human beings are susceptable to sins save for Prophets. Imam Abul Hasan ash-Shadiliy said:“He who does not truly acquire this discipline will die persisting on major sins without being aware of it.” 10- What it tackles: Tasawwuf tackles some of the cardinal elements of the deen such as sincerity; truthfulness; religious cautioness (wara'); conscious awareness (khushû') reliance; asceticism; love; and similarly their opposites, which are the diseases of the hearts such as insincerity; hypocrisy; arrogance; greed etc.It also tackles subtle subjects such as the passing of thoughts; the states of the heart; inspirations. One of its most important subjects is dhikr, the remembrance (i.e. in the evocation & recitation of the name) of Allah and its virtues; another is the shaykh and his qualifications, the disciple, murid, and his adab. 11- Basic works in tasawwuf:- The Beauty of the Righteous by al-Hafiz Abu Nuaym al-Asfahani- The Revival of the Sciences of the Deen- (Ihya) al-Imam al- Ghazali- Al-Risalah of Imam Abul Qasim al-Qushayriy- The Aphorisms, al-Hikam, of Imam Ibn Atta'illah- Revelation of the Unseen by Imam Abdul Qadir al-Jaylaniy- Awarif Al-Ma'arif, by al-Suhrawardi- Qawa'id Al-Tasawwuf, by Imam Ahmad Zarooq Al-Ghafûr:the All-forgiving i.e. the One who forgives every thing, all thingsAl-Ghaffâr:the Forgiving all the time of the sins, i.e. the Often-Forgiving. 2. Proof from Quran & Sunna As a matter of fact the amount of proof is too numerous to list here, and this is so, because Tasawwuf - Sufism is nothing less than the heart of the religion (dîn): “Being the heart of the Islamic message it is, like the physical heart, hidden from external view, although again like the heart it is the inner source of life and the centre which coordinates inwardly the whole religious organism of Islam. The Tarîqah is the most subtle and difficult aspect of Islam to understand at the same time that its external effect is to be seen in many manifestations of Islamic society and civilisation.” [k/trq_e] 2.1 Tasawwuf in Traditional Islam There are the evident corrupt acts, to be seen by everyone and the concealed corrupt acts:{Say: My Lord has only prohibited indecencies, those of them that are apparent as well as those that are concealed,-} (7-33)It is the function of the science of Tasawwuf to heal (the heart of) the believer even from the concealed corrupt acts, such as blind hatred, ostentation, envy, hypocrisy. For this there are methods, disciplines[033]and doctors of hearts[3.4].  2.2 The ihsân-hadith expressed by the Angel Gabriel: The Messenger of Allah  replied to angel Gabriel's (pbuh) question on Ihsan (perfection), that it is "to worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot (yet) see Him, then be sure that He is seeing you."A sound and famous hadith in Al-Bukhari, vol. 1, no. 47; narrated by Abu Huraira.[o/gh_e] Prophet Muhammad  also used to say:"Truly, Allah does not look at your outward forms and wealth, but rather at your hearts and your works."Allah  does not need our outward accomplishments, building records, material goods etc. when everything we have is only from HIM! But He said (in the Quran) that HE will scrutinize our inner being, our heart or soul:{ The day on which property will not avail, nor sons; except him who comes to Allah with a (sound) heart* free (from evil).} (26-88/9) *sound heart: [2.3] 2.3 Heart, Soul, Inner Aspect *sound heart (~ the organ of knowledge):“A heart in which the affectations of the mind do not arise, and which is safe from the distractions of all that is not God.” [CDS] *diseased heart:Shibli said: “A heart ruled by the present world (dunyâ)is debarred from feeling the sweetness of the world to come.”Allah  warns us from the disease of the heart, which results in eternal damnation:{ In their hearts is a disease, and Allah has caused their sickness to intensify.} (2-10) The illness of the heart is of two types:- suspicion and doubt, and - desire, allurement and wantonness*.Ibn Qayyim[MP3]*(i.e. cruel, violent, sexually immodesty) One's inward diseases are enough to cancel out one's good deeds - even if they are numerous.[PTP34] *hadith:“For every object there is a thing which polishes it and that which polishes the heart is remembrance (dhikr) of God.” *Quran:{ For without doubt in the remembrance (i.e. in the evocation & recitation of the name) of Allah do hearts find comfort.} (13-28){ Those who believe, and whose hearts find comfort in the remembrance of Allah. For without doubt in the remembrance (i.e. in the evocation & recitation of the name) of Allah do hearts find comfort.} (13-28) 3. The Science Of Tasawwuf There are several aspects to it, and all have to be taken account of. The beginning of it is when the servant accuses his own soul[m/pse_e], the continuation of it when he takes account of himself in all states, and strives against his ego, seeking recourse in Allah  . Then there will be blessings (barakah) and ease:{ With hardship comes ease.} (94-5) 3.1 A Difficult Science, With Great BenefitIt is a science which is easy to hold speaches about, but difficult to implement and practice! Nevertheless one must not avoid the effort, but start the journey at once, before it is too late.{ Ah, what will convey unto you what the Ascent is!}(90-12) This science is “mixed with what is bitter and distressful. It saddens the heart and brings tears to the eyes...The ego has no portion in its journey ... because its pre-condition is the killing of the ego and abstinence from one's wants. This is why scholars have deserted this science and occupied themselves with the sciences of juridical rulings and differences of opions ... they are lighter upon the souls that are disposed to following their caprice and averse to rights. Allah  knows best.”[SSK43]3.2 An Individually Obligatory Science For EveryoneThe Prophets - peace be upon them all - are singled out from the generality of believers due to their extra certainty (yaqîn), faith and Prophetic proofs. For the believing Muslim - nay for every Muslim - it is very important to gain deep understanding,* according to the word of the Prophet  :“Whoever Allah wishes good for, he grants him deep understanding of religion.”Al-Bukhari, vol. 1, no.71*“Deep understanding (fqh) is to know one's self: what is for it and against it.” Imam Abu Hanifa *For or against:The Muslims who implement tasawwuf don't engage in disputation and quarrelling about religion, and certainly not in showing off, but they hold that it is better “for one to occupy himself with what is for and against him,” and they focus on seeking Sacred Knowledge.[SSK67]“The states, stations, and spiritual struggles (which the Muslims who implement tasawwuf) seek to understand and speak of are needed by all the believers. Knowing their rulings is obligatory upon all and universally relevant. These include qualities such as: truthfulness, sincerity, remembrance, and the avoidance of heedlessness. Nay, the servant must know his intentions, aims, and inner thoughts at every passing moment. If it is a right among the various rights, he must stick to it and if it is his own portion*, he must abstain from it.”[fnSSK46] Allah  says:{ And do not obey him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, who follows his desires, and whose affair is in neglect.} (18-28) *That means the servant has to scrutinize his ownniyyât and goals at all times in order to discover if they are according with God's satisfaction and stick to them and if they are only for ego's or nafs's portion, he should abstain from it. 3.3 A Warning Of False Claimants”Among the latter day adherents of Sufism there are claimants who, despite their meagre portion of knowledge and intelligence, claim Divine gnosis and enlightened spiritual unveilings for themselves.”[SSK30]This is wrong and deviancy.May Allah bring them back to the Straight Path!3.4 Looking For A Spiritual Guide“The benefit of the Shaykh is that he condenses and shortens the path for the spiritual aspirant. Whoever travels the path without a Shaykh is foolish, and he will spend his whole life having not reached his goal because the Shaykh is like the guide who leads the pilgrims to Mecca on a dark night.”[RES57]Shaykh `Abd Al-Wahhâb Al-Sha`râni If someone is confused about a particular aspect of this science, he should only defer to the view of  “a scholar who has experienced these states and settled in them and who has researched their sciences and intricacies. Whosoever does otherwise is mistaken.” [SSK49]Shaykh `Abd al-Hadi Kharsa3.5 A Measure For The Strength Of One's Struggle(jihâd)Now if we remind ourselves of the strong love or desire for wordly goods (and grown-ups have this passion, not children) as mentioned in this verse:{ And lo! In the love of wealth he is violent.} (100-8)then - for reaching the balance - → this can be a measure of the strength of our struggle(jihâd) or the force we apply against our nafs for the commands of the LAW and the good pleasure (ridwân)of Allah. continue reading 01 - tasawwuf – an explanation 011→ Sufism ( tasawwuf ) is a knowledge through which one knows the states of the human soul, praiseworthy or blameworthy, how to purify it from the blameworthy and ennoble it by acquiring the praiseworthy [qualities], and to journey and proceed to Allah  Most High, fleeing unto Him [by taking a spiritual path - tarîq ].012→ Its fruits are the heart's development, knowledge of God - Allah  - through direct experience and ecstasy [ie. true experience of the Divine], salvation in the next world, triumph through gaining Allah's pleasure, the attainment of eternal happiness, and illuminating and purifying the heart so that noble matters disclose themselves, extraordinary states are revealed, and one perceives what the insight of others is blind to. Muhammad Amin Kurdi [ icd_e ]013→ The real meaning of the word "Sufi" means actually the one who is liberated [from the shackles of the dunyâ & nafs] or has completed his spiritual realisation. Otherwise the beginner [of the path] should be called "Mutaçawwif" and never "Sufi" as long as he has not arrived at the final goal. AV014→ It should be pointed out that Sufism has existed before its name since the very time of the Profet  and according to Shaykh Abd Al Wahid Yahya the name actually means al-hikmah al-ilâhiyyah(knowledge of God). AV   The wheel, it doesn't have to be reinvented, only re-adapted.02 - principles of tasawwuf 021→ All the authentic principles of tasawwuf are to be found in the Qur'an and hadiths, so they are in the Sunnah.022→ He who dies without having entered into this knowledge of ours dies insisting upon his grave sins (kabâ'ir) without realizing it. [ Al-Shadhili ]023→ Reaching substantial, true belief in Divine Oneness and living in accordance with its demands. [ 10 principles of Tasawwuf ] 03 - tasawwuf - the way of the Sufis 031→ The reality of tasawwuf is defined by truthful self-orientation (sidq al-tawajjuh) to Allah  Most High.(10 items:) [ What is Sufism? ]032→ Know that tasawwuf is two things: Truthfulness with Allah Almighty and good conduct with people. Anyone who practices these two things is a Sufi ... [ Imam Al-Ghazali ]033→ Sufism is not as some people think; merely gathering together to engage in remembrance and recite litanies. What many are unaware of is that Sufism is a complete and practical method for transforming people from loathsome (i.e. causing hatred or disgust; repulsive) individuals to complete and model human beings. This is all done through having sound faith, sincere worship, good and correct actions, and virtuous character. [RES37]   04 - The foundations of our path 041→ These foundations of the path are 5:* taqwâ (godfearingness, mindfulness of Allah), privately and publicly,* Adherence to the Sunna in word and deed,* Indifference to whether others accept or reject one,* Contentment with Allah  in times of hardship & ease,* Turning to Allah in prosperity & adversity. 042→ 5 principles for treating the soul's illnesses:* lightening the stomach by diminishing one's food and drink,* taking refuge in Allah  Most High from the unforeseen when it befalls,* shunning situations involving what one fears to fall victim to,* continually asking for Allah's forgiveness and His blessings upon the Prophet  night and day with full presence of mind,* and keeping the company of him who guides one to Allah  . [Sheikh Yusuf al-Sayyid Hashim al-Rafa`i]   05 - Concerning The Opponents of Tasawwuf 051→ The detractors of tasawwuf often invent odd things about Sufism, either totally misunderstood or without any basis in tasawwuf, in order to be able to attack it, while presenting themselves as "the true followers of the religion" of Islam.052→ Nevertheless there those who go to extremes and there are deviatiant groups - parading as followers of Sufism, while being lax on the law(Sharia), culturally inherited customs, inventing new matters. These things have nothing to do with the religion whatsoever.053→ Certain opponents of tasawwuf adduce two reports, one chainless and one weak-chained, originating in a man from the city of Naseebeen (Iraq) who has been critiqued as munkar al-hadith or 'disclaimed in his narrations' to claim that Imam Malik derided group dhikr. [ Imam Malik and the Sufis ]054→ “No one is allowed to wag his tongue to malign a folk whose knowledge and state he doesn’t know, whose stations and intentions he has not discovered. Whoever does that will fall into destruction, even though he thinks he is from the sincere advisers. May Allah protect us!” [SSK49]055→ When you detect the slightest whiff of disrespect for (the schools of tasawwuf), you have been given the first sign that you are in the presence of a disconnected, unbeneficial person. [ Sunnism is respect ]056→ As for the statement "being a sufi, he is from among those who have gone astray in the history of Islam" it would be fair to say that this statement constitutes kufr because it attributes misguidance to the massive majority of the elite of this Umma ... GFH [ Mawlana Jalal al-Din ar-Rumi 'misguided'? ]057→ Remember Imam Ghazali's advice in al-Munqidh min al-Dalal: "Think good thoughts (about Sufis) and do not harbor doubts in your heart"; and of Ibn Hajar al-Haytami's fatwa concerning critics of those who respect tasawwuf and believe in awliya': "Bad thoughts about them (Sufis) is the death of the heart." [Those Who Attack Al-Ghazali] 058→ Although there is no evidence that the word “Tasawwuf” (the Arabic word for “Sufism”) was used by the Prophet  (peace be upon him), he certainly used the word ‘Ihsan’ or spiritual sincerity. Sufi Shaykhs have said that Sufism itself is nothing other than this sincerity, or the perfect following of the way of Muhammad, both inner and outer.[schoolofsufiteaching.org]   06 - Sufism Is Self-Purification 061→ Hadith of the Prophet  on the heart:  “... truly in the body there is a morsel of flesh which, if it be whole, all the body is whole and which, if it be diseased, all of it is diseased. Truly it is the heart.” (narrated by Bukhari and Muslim) [hadith 40 Nawawi] 062→ The process of self-purification means that a Muslim undertakes to rid himself of repellant characteristics and acquire praiseworthy ones, so that he perfects his worship of his Lord and attains His nearness.063→ The Sufi is that Muslim whose inner and outer behaviour are in harmony with the Shari`ah (Divine Law), so that he realizes (thqq*; tahqîq) his iman, islam and ihsan. 07 - Famous Quotes On Sufism 071→ Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal said about the Sufis: “I don't know people better than them.” Someone said to him: "They listen to music and they reach states of ecstasy." He said: “Do you prevent them from enjoying an hour with Allah?” [Ahmad ibn Hanbal]072→ Imam al- Shafi`i said: “Be both a faqih and asufi: do not be only one of them! Verily, by Allah's truth, I am advising you sincerely. [Imam al- Shafi`i]073→ Imam Malik  said: “He who practicestasawwuf without learning Sacred Law corrupts his faith, while he who learns Sacred Law without practicing tasawwuf corrupts himself. Only he who combines the two proves true.” [Sufism in Islam]074→ For Abu Madyan, an aspirant's spiritual progress could never be separated from his social responsibility:"Sufism is not the (mere) observance of rules, nor does it consist of degrees or stages. Instead, Sufism consists of personal integrity, generosity of spirit, the emulation of what has been revealed, knowledge of the (divine) Message, and adhering to the way of the prophets. He who deviates from these sources finds himself grazing in the gardens of Satan, submerged in the ocean of lusts, and wandering in the darkness of ignorance." [Bidayat al-murid (Basic principles of the Sufi path); Abu Madyan] 08 - Tasawwuf Shuyukh081→ The scholars of the Sufis are the genuine followers of the salaf due to their fully connected chains leading back to them. This is the fact of the matter and is not a mere claim. They are the Muhammadan inheritors; those in whom Allah has gathered the inheritance of Sacred Knowledge and the inheritance of spiritual states.[SSK] Some of the following are: Ibn `Arabi Hasan al-Basri Abu Hanifa Sufyan al-Thawri Imam Malik Imam Shafi`i Ahmad bin Hanbal Imam Ahmad al-Muhasibi al-Ju`i al-Junayd al-Tirmidhi al-Baghdadi al-Qushayri al-Ansari al-Ghazali Ibn `Aqil al-Hanbali al-Gilani Ibn al-Jawzi al-Shadhili Ibn `Abd al-Salam al-Nawawi al-Maqdisi Ibn Taymiyya Ibn Taymiyya II Ibn `Ata Allah I Ibn `Ata Allah II al-Subki al-Shatibi Ibn Khaldun Al-Bistami al-Sakhawi al-Suyuti al-Ansari al-Haytami al-Sha`rani al-Qari Ibn `Abidin al-Mawdudi 082→ Other Shuyukh who wrote on tasawwuf:Far from being opponents of tasawwuf, there are those who accepted its reality, but this has not pleased some of the narrowminded who have tampered with the original writings(!), which is our Islamic heritage, to fit into their innovated ideology. Examples are here [trs_e] and here [strm_e]. Among the Shuyukh which they like to count as their's are the following who accepted tasawwuf and praised it: Ibn al-Qayyim Ibn Taymiyya (1) Ibn Taymiyya (2) Ibn Taymiyya (3)   09 - Texts On Tasawwuf (at LivingIslam.org) 091→ Briefly put, 'sufi' is a second-century name applied to a type of Muslim earlier known as 'zahid.' [ Sufism in Islam ]092→ The Tarîqah or Spiritual Path which is usually known as Tasawwuf or Sufism is the inner and esoteric dimension of Islam and like the Sharî`ah has its roots in the Quran and prophetic practice. f69919zg1v4bqmoc8by4cf4lbi.hop.clickbank.net —  “Verily, in the Remembrance of God do hearts find tranquility.” — Surah ar-Rad (Holy Quran, 13:28) Greetings of Peace and Light, Asalaamu’alaykum. My name is Ihsan and I would like to thank you for your interest in the Islamic Meditation Program. I look forward to welcoming you to the unique and evolutionary Islamic Meditation Program where you will have the opportunity to master the art and science of Dhikr, the quintessential meditative spiritual practice, recommended above all else by the Holy Prophet (saws) and God Almighty. What is the Islamic Meditation Program? The Islamic Meditation Program is a complete Six-Week Online Training Program designed to introduce you to the unique depth and power of Islamic Spirituality. Islamic Meditation, or Dhikr as it is known in Arabic, comprises the most powerful forms of meditative spiritual practice ever revealed to humanity. With the Islamic Meditation Program, you will have the opportunity to rediscover a religious experience that is rich, spiritual, balanced and relevant. A Revolutionary Online Training Program What is Islamic Meditation? There are primarily four forms of Islamic Meditation: Taffakur, Tasbih, Muraqaba, and Murabita. Although many are familiar with at least some of these forms of Dhikr, few have been taught how to practice them effectively for maximum benefit. With the Islamic Meditation Program, you will have the opportunity to learn, practice and ultimately master these powerful forms of meditative spiritual practice given to humanity as a gift from God for growth, change and the attainment of Divine grace and pleasure. What are the Benefits of Islamic Meditation? By learning how to effectively practice Islamic Meditation, in addition to developing spiritually and progressively drawing nearer to the Divine Presence of God, you will receive many practical benefits. The Islamic Meditation Program has been designed to enable you to begin getting dramatically improved results in the primary areas of your life. Your Health Cultivate and catalyze your healing potential, invigorating your body at the cellular level with Qudra, or Heavenly Divine Energy. Your Mind Develop crystal clear focus and mental calm, enabling you to concentrate and perform any task using the full potential of your mind (not just a fraction like most people), and become free of brain fog. Your Emotions Learn how to become emotionally intelligent, aware of what you are experiencing as well as the subtle experiences that give rise to your feelings, and how to instantly shift into a proper paradigm leading to happiness and joy, as well as how to naturally and automatically experience goodness and grace as a result of being connected to your Source, the Divine Presence of God. Your Relationships Experience markedly improved relationships as you become internally whole and complete, no longer dependent or needful of other people, and thus in a position to give freely from the fullness of your own being. Only when we are internally healed, whole and complete are we able to actually express true love, and so naturally become the recipient of the love and goodwill of others. Your Spirit Develop a deep and unshakable inner peace by being rooted in your center, the Divine Presence, enabling you to weather any storm with ease and grace. Your Finances Become a magnet for prosperity and abundance by removing internal blockages and resistance that keep the endless flow of abundance from  the Divine Presence of God from reaching you. Your Religion In truth, the benefits and results from the proper practice of Islamic Meditation can hardly be quantified and go far beyond what can be written here, enabling you to actualize your Divine Destiny, the ultimate Divine Will and Purpose, based on the Holy Hadith Qudsi wherein the Prophet Muhammad (saws) stated that God has said, “I was a hidden Treasure and wanted to be known, so I created.”   “The Islamic Meditation is just so beautifully done — well-organized in terms of artwork, audio, text, calligraphy and all related elements. One can access these sublime practices literally within one minute of arriving on the site. Of special importance is the way in which you have identified the four different forms of Islamic Meditation along with the specific various zikrs associated with each. “Highly recommended for someone wishing a comprehensive yet succinct overview of a topic which is actually the core of Sufism. Indeed, your course opens wide the Gateway to the most refined mode of contemplation and meditation in the Universe. Masha’Allah, may God be pleased with you. Ameen!” — Shaykh Hakim al-Chishtiyya, Author of the Book of Sufi Healing The Islamic Meditation Audio Experience When first beginning a meditative spiritual practice, most people find it difficult to concentrate and sustain Presence. That’s where an effective meditative audio soundtrack can be very helpful, especially when coupled with a guided narrative. After studying meditation music for several months, my good friend Daud and I discovered the right combination of subtle melodies and Islamic percussion to gently and effortlessly enable a person to experience the benefits of meditation instantly, and with little instruction or experience in meditation. By combining these unique audio tracks with the power of Dhikr, we were able to create some of the most unique and powerful, though subtle, meditative audio soundtracks ever produced.   “SubhanAllah! Thank you for sharing this with us, Ihsan! Listening to these Heavenly Guided meditation audio tracks have opened up so much for me – it is incredible! I understand now when you say Islam is Peace. I always knew the fact that Islam means Peace. But it drove home to me in these past couple of weeks and your article reinforced it! Ameen!!! “Shukr, Ya Rabbi Shukr! All I can say is that I am deliriously in Love! I feel so much at Peace, knowing now for certain that Allah (SWT) is loving us so much, guiding us always to the best that is for us! Always with us, our very best Friend! “Our Lord’s Grace, fear has flown out of the window! Thank you Ihsan for all your efforts and Love, and helping in making a difference! May Allah(SWT) bless you and Daud and all our families, and above all our beautiful Shuyukh! Ameen!!!” — Fatima R. (USA) An Evolutionary Learning Program Simply creating a series of powerful Islamic meditative audio tracks was not enough. We wanted to create the best and most comprehensive educational training program on the subject of Islamic Meditation ever developed. And that’s what we did. Both Daud and I, after over fifteen years on the Islamic Spiritual Path each, are still astonished at how few Muslims, even Sufis, know of and understand the divine depth and unique power of Islamic Spirituality. Very few yet realize the true potential of Islam and the Way of Islamic Spirituality to utterly transform a human being and his or her life. As human beings, we have been created with incomprehensible potential, and only Islamic Spirituality can fully unlock this latent divine trust and secret within each of us. So with our cumulative thirty-plus years of experience on the Islamic Spiritual Path, and the blessed experiences and opportunities we’ve had to sit and study with some of the most enlightened masters of Islamic Spirituality currently living, the Islamic Meditation Program was born. Daud’s background in music and mine in Education Media Design and Technology enabled us to create one of the most valuable learning opportunities ever developed.   “I am REALLY loving the Islamic Meditation program — it is, without exception, the simplest and most profound, creatively-radically orthodox, and personally transformative thing I have encountered to date with regard to Islam: that is to say, with regard to true, authentic, universal spiritual Haqq! Mega-mash’Allah’s to you, brother, and jazakallah khair!” — Amir A. H. (USA) What’s Included in the Islamic Meditation Program? The Islamic Meditation Program is a comprehensive Six-Week Online Training System that can be accessed from anywhere in the world and at any time. The entire program is accessible through a Private Member Site and includes weekly training modules that will guide you step-by-step into the proper practice and understanding of Islamic Meditation so that you can immediately begin experiencing the vast ocean of Islamic Spirituality. The Islamic Meditation Program is available entirely as a digital program for instant access and includes several components. An Exclusive Member Community Site The Islamic Meditation Manual: Mastering the Art of Dhikr Six Weeks of Online Video Training Six Islamic Meditation Audio Experience Soundtracks Six Islamic Meditation Guided Audio Soundtracks Six Proprietary Heart Rhythm Meditation Audio Experience Soundtracks The Ability to Download the Entire Program via Digital Delivery Instantly Anywhere in the World And because the entire Islamic Meditation Program is accessed through a live online Member Site, we have the opportunity not only to continually add to and improve the Program, but also to interact with our Community and Members! “Wow, I must say, this is beautiful and exactly what I have been looking for. Well worth the investment! It is a shame we have people asking for thousands and thousands to guide people like this. Brother Ihsan, thank you for all your help; you have not only helped me, but my whole family. My wife and I will definitely be following this.” — Sinan A. (Australia) What Will You Learn in the Islamic Meditation Program? Through the Islamic Meditation Program, you will have all the tools necessary to take your spiritual path and practice to an entirely new level of depth and practicality. In this unique and revolutionary training system, you will learn an incredible amount of knowledge including, but not limited to, the following. How to properly and effectively practice the different forms of Dhikr, or Islamic meditation, and how to maximize their benefit. How to become liberated from past and future and how to begin living fully in the present moment, free and alive. How to experience a real and meaningful relationship with the Divine, beyond forms, concepts and ideas. How to transcend fear, anxiety and worry, and how to live life liberated from stress and tension. How to ultimately attain enlightenment and “die before you die,” experiencing the bliss of Divine Grace in this life before death. How to become free of unconscious negative thought patterns and dysfunctional beliefs systems often present and acquired since childhood. How to be happy. At will and by choice. How to live your life on purpose, being at cause for your choices and circumstances rather than a victim of the effects. How to be successful at anything you set your mind to, and how to un-limit your potential so that you can achieve anything. How to use the power of your intention to manifest the results you deserve, and how to utilize the power of conscious intention to exponentially increase the value of your spiritual practice and prayers. How to remove subconscious internal resistance and barriers to attracting wealth, happiness, joy and abundance into your life. How to instantly enter a deep state of relaxation that will rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. How to instantly “reset”, and cleanse and purify yourself from negative experiences. How to come into alignment with Divine Will and begin experiencing your life through joy and gratitude, awe and wonder, as it was meant to be experienced and lived. And much, much more.

When told about the mathematical miracle of the Quran and how it is related to number 19 , many people ask : Why 19?! If it was 17 or 21, they would have asked the same question, WHY 21 ?  or  Why 17 ?. But of course there is more than one reason for that choice. Number 19 as we know by now is mentioned in the Quran in Sura 74 verse 30. God even told us the significance of this number in 74:31. The student of the scriptures will find enough evidence that the mathematical code, based on number 19, was used for the previous scripture as well. Since distortion changed the whole face of the old scripture we were left only with the Quran as the only preserved word of God. It is God's choice for this to happen. Even the universe at large bears this divine mark. The number 19 can be looked upon as the Almighty Creator's signature on everything He created. The number 19 possesses unique mathematical properties, for example: 1-It is a prime number , only divides by itself and one. 2-It encompasses the first numeral (1) and the last numeral (9), as if to proclaim God's attribute in 57:3 as the "Alpha and the Omega". 3-Its {numerals} look the same in all languages in the world. The numerals (1) and (9) look very much the same in , for example Arabic and English. 4-It possesses many peculiar mathematical properties. For example, 19 is the sum of the first powers of 9 and 10, and the difference between the second powers of 9 and 10. 5-Number 19 is the numerical value of the word "ONE" in all the scriptural languages, Aramaic, Hebrew, and Arabic. The number 19, therefore proclaims the First commandment in all the scriptures: that there is only ONE GOD. The word "ONE" "Wahid" in reference to God, in the Quran, is used 19 times. Is it a co-incidence? The number 19 itself has no power and has no holiness, and can lead you no where. It is the Miracle that is based on this number that has the significance. This significance is explained clearly by God Almighty Himself in 74:30-31. 74:30-31 states the following Over it are Nineteen. And We have set none but angels as Guardians of the Fire; and We have fixed their number only as a trial for Unbelievers, in order that the People of the Book may arrive at certainty, and the Believers may increase in Faith, and that no doubts may be left for the People of the Book and the Believers, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the Unbelievers may say, "What symbol doth Allah intend by this ?" Thus doth Allah leave to stray whom He pleaseth, and guide whom He pleaseth: and none can know the forces of thy Lord, except He and this is no other than a warning to mankind. Allah the Almighty controlled everything.   WAHID, History of Muhammad (saw) and 19 33 Seems to be one of the important number in Islam Uploaded 24 January 2011 The Hidden Mathematical Calculation inside surah Al-Kahf Al-Qur'an mentions Gregory and Hijri Calendar Uploaded 20 January 2011 114 PRIME NUMBERS The addition of 114 Prime Numbers will give you surprises Uploaded 06 December 2010 PRIME NUMBER NO 632 The year of the death and his age coded in Prime Number Uploaded 30 November 2010   Click the image to find more. tibbenabawi.org —     Tibb-e-Nabawi ~ Healing by ISLAM, both for the body & soul, for the doctor & patient, for the sick & healthy By the Star when it goes down, your Companion is neither astray nor being misled, and neither does he speak out of his own desire, that which he conveys to you is but a divine revelation with which he is being Inspired, something that a very Mighty One Has Imparted to him. (Surah Najm ~ Verses 1 to 5) All praise to Allah Who Created the human from soil, He is Allah Who also Made rocks from the soil which can crush the soil, He is Allah Who Created Iron which breaks the rocks, He is Allah Who Created Fire which melts the Iron, He is Allah Who Created WATER which extinguishes the fire, He is Allah Who Created AIR which can carry tons of water as clouds, & He is Allah Who Descends the rain & Gives life to dead soil. Tibb-e-Nabawi is the divine medicine that was Gifted by Allah to Prophet Muhammad Salallaho Alaihe Wasallam by WAHEE (revelation). It is the true healing for both the doctor & patient, for the sick & healthy. Purpose of this website is to emphasize that Tibb-e-Nabawi is a complete code of medicine, both for the health of heart (soul) & physical fitness. We ignored it for the last few hundreds of years and as a result, no one in this world considers Tibb-e-Nabwi even as an alternative medicine, you will find followers of Acupuncture, Unani, Ayurveda, Herbalism, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, etc. but very few adopt Tibb-e-Nabawi as their first priority of cure & healing. There are many books written on Tibb-e-Nabawi, but Ibn Al Qayyam Al Jauziah's book is the most comprehensive, Ibn Al Qayyam was a miracle of Allah’s creations, he lived for 60 years, but had an experience of 1,000 years, precision and perfection of his knowledge on ISLAM & Medicine is reflected in his book on Tibb-e-Nabawi, & we have understood that he has presented the “Diagnosis & Prescription” with curing the heart & soul primarily; prior to treat the physical ailment. He wrote: "There is a tremendous connection between the soul and what the body suffers due to physical diseases. Only the most ignorant people will deny the effects of the soul on body and on human nature as a whole. Allah Gives the soul certain powers over the body when someone is attacked by diseases. In addition, the soul has certain effects on the body when it experiences the ailments that are caused by septic substances, especially when blood, semen or black bile is irritated. Evil forces take control of the body when it experiences such emotions and ailments, unless the person repels it with an even stronger power, such as remembering Allah, supplicating to Him, invoking and pleading to Him, giving in charity (Sadaqah) and reciting the Quran. In this case, angels will descend and will defeat and neutralize the evil effects of the devilish souls (evil forces). We have successfully tried this method many times, that which only Allah is Able to count, and we witnessed the wonderful effects of such positive forces (good souls) in strengthening one’s resolve and ridding him of bad elements. This method almost never fails". Disease was Created by Allah & CURE is also Provided by Allah, so why to go through the painful cycle of DMC (Disease ~ Medicine ~ CURE) ? By disease, Allah Provides an opportunity to reduce the burden of sins, furthermore, He Needs from a Muslim to follow the true principals of SHIFA, which help a Muslim to develop & strengthen belief on his LORD, the DMC cycle creates a strong connection between a Muslim & Rahman, between a slave & his Master, between a Mo’min (Allah’s name) and a Mo’min (A Muslim). Following are the true principals of SHIFA / Healing which cure both the heart (soul) & body : 1. Healing by Belief (Yaqeen) that Allah Has Sent the disease & Allah is the HEALER, & if the healing is delayed, it is by Allah’s Wisdom & Hikmah 2. Healing by Aa’maal-e-Saalehaat, Salaat, Sadaqah, Fast, Quran, Zikr, Duaas & Ruqya, Husn-e-Khulq, abstaining from sins, Istighfaar, etc. 3. Healing by the foods of Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam 4. Healing by the herbs of Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam 5. Healing by HIJAMAH; which is Sunnah & the best kind of treatment in this world When all of the above tools are combined together, it is very difficult for any sickness / ailment to withstand the crushing power of Tibb-e-Nabawi. Return to Page Top We have classified the contents of Tibb-e-Nabawi in these 5 categories, & many articles on this website are copied from Ibn Al Qayyam's book "Zaad al Ma'aad". The most beautiful words in his book are as under : وليس طِبُّه صلى الله عليه وسلم كطِبِّ الأطباء، فإن طبَّ النبىّ صلى الله عليه وسلم متيقَّنٌ قطعىٌ إلهىٌ، صادرٌ عن الوحى، ومِشْكاةِ النبوة، وكمالِ العقل‏.‏ وطبُّ غيرِه أكثرُه حَدْسٌ وظنون، وتجارِب، ولا يُنْكَرُ عدمُ انتفاع كثير من المرضى بطبِّ النبوة، فإنه إنما ينتفعُ به مَن تلقَّاه بالقبول، واعتقاد الشفاء به، وكمال التلقى له بالإيمان والإذعان، فهذا القرآنُ الذي هو شفاء لما في الصدور إن لم يُتلقَّ هذا التلقى لم يحصل به شفاءُ الصُّدور مِن أدوائها، بل لا يزيدُ المنافقين إلا رجساً إلى رجسهم، ومرضاً إلى مرضهم، وأين يقعُ طبُّ الأبدان منه، فطِب النبوةِ لا يُناسب إلا الأبدانَ الطيبة، كما أنَّ شِفاء القرآن لا يُناسب إلا الأرواح الطيبة والقلوب الحية، فإعراضُ الناس عن طِبِّ النبوة كإعراضهم عن الاستشفاء بالقرآن الذي هو الشفاء النافع، وليس ذلك لقصور في الدواء، ولكن لخُبثِ الطبيعة، وفساد المحل، وعدمِ قبوله‏.‏‏.‏ والله الموفق‏.‏ Prophetic medicine is not similar to that offered by doctors and physicians. Prophetic medicine is indeed the effective treatment and cure provided by the revelation and the guidance of the Prophet Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam; that is coupled with a sound and perfect mind. In comparison, the majority of remedies prescribed by others are built on hypothesis, observation and experimentation. It is a fact that many people do not benefit from Prophetic medicine because it will help only those who acknowledge and have faith in it. Thus, they believe that it will help them and they then submit to it. If Qur’an, which is a cure for whatever the heart conceals, is not acknowledged and accepted with faith, it will not provide a cure for the heart. In fact, Quran will only add more evil and disease to the hearts of the hypocrites. Prophetic medicine is only suitable for good and pure bodies, just as Quran is only suitable for righteous souls and feeling hearts. Therefore, when the people ignore Prophetic medicine, it is like ignoring the help with the guidance of Quran, which is the most effective medicine. Again, when the medicine (Quran and the Prophetic medicine) do not work, it is due to the negativity in the body and soul that are not suitable for accepting the medicine, not because the medicine does not work. All success comes from ALLAH. The relationship of (scientific) medicine to the Prophetic medicine is similar to scientific thought in comparison to divine revelations (to the Prophets). Indeed there are scientific phenomena and medical therapies to which even the best scientist and doctors have no real answers. Even to this day despite the advances made by science and technology, many mysteries remain. The results and comfort of spiritual therapies comes only from faith and trust in ALLAH. They come through charity, prayer, repentance and seeking ALLAH’s forgiveness. They are aided by doing good deeds, helping the helpless and relieving the afflicted. The causes for these cures are varied and defy logical analysis. And the resultant cures cannot be explained by scientific experimentation and analysis. All this is in accordance of the law of ALLAH and nothing outside it. When a person’s heart becomes attuned to the Lord of the world, and trusting of the Creator of all ailments and their remedies, medicines which would otherwise be ineffective in an individual who is unbelieving and indifferent of heart become effective,. It has been experienced that when a man’s belief is strong, his body and soul are strengthened and they co-operate in repelling disease and overcoming it. This cannot be denied except by the most ignorant of people.   PLEASE CLICL ON LINK: http://www.tibbenabawi.org/

zawiyah.org —      THE JOURNEY OF THE HUMAN SOUL'ADM   WATCH:http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCC6B7F03FFE501D0&feature=viewalll   THE JOURNEY OF THE HUMAN SOUL‘ADM (In other words there was nothing in existence apart from Allah) Everything that one can see all around oneself such as the sky, sun, moon, birds, animals, rivers and mountains were not created by themselves and nor were they created by mankind. They were not in pre‐existence and likewise Angels, paradise, hell, The Throne of Allah, The Divine Chair, The Sacred Tablet and The Pen also did not exist, and there was only Allah and nothing else. Allah created the whole of the universe including human and jinn only to know recognition and worship Him. Humans did not bring themselves into existence. That is the reason why they cannot live the kind of life they desire. Rather they should live the life according to the way their Creator wills for them. This is the only way that they can be successful forever. In Surah Mulk Allah the Exalted mentions “He has created death and life that He may test you which of you is best in deed”. (Meaning of the translation). The Realm of spiritsAllah created all of the spirits and asked them “Am I not your Lord?” Every spirit amongst mankind replied “Yes, Oh Allah You are our Lord”. Since the spirits testified to the Oneness of Allah, they have been sent to this world and are given a body in order to prove practically for what they testified in the World of Spirits. The temporal world (Dunya)The spirit has been sent in this world for a short period of time as a test. It has been given a body, which has different types of needs and desires. The test being that the person either uses their body to obey the command of Allah Ta’la and follow the way of The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), or will he follow the devil and his own desires. The Intermediate world (Barzakh ‐ life after death)The place where a person will reside in after death until the day of judgement is known as the barzakh (grave). Here the choice of a person ends. His grave will either become a garden of bliss or a pit of fire due to the bad deeds he did in the world. This world exists in a different dimension. The human eye cannot see the other side. The Day of judgementThis Day while be 50,000 years long according to time scale. In this one day many worldly lives can be relived. On this day every person will have to give account for each and every second. In particular his youth and where he spent his resources and how he earned his wealth and what he spent it on. He will also be most certainly asked in regards to how much he acted upon his knowledge. For the pious people this day will pass very swiftly. On this day there will be three courts. First court: The court of faith (Iman), disbelief (Kufr) and, oneness of Allah (Tauheed) and polytheism (Shirk)1) In the first court, questioning will take place in regards to a person’s belief In the oneness of Allah and about any partners that he ascribed to Him, in Other words what were his beliefs. Did he deny the existence of Allah and The Messenger of Allah, the supreme sent through Messengers or did he Believe.Second court: The court in relation to Allah’s rights2) In the second court questioning will take place in regards to the rights of Allah and His Messenger Peace be upon him, for example Prayer, Fasting, Charity, Pilgrimage and whether or not one acted in contrary to the Prophetic way of life (Sunnahs). Also in relation to the Quran, as to how much did he act upon its teachings.Third court: The court in relation to the rights of Allah’s creation3) The third court will be in regards to the rights of mankind and othercreation. In this court questioning will take place regarding wealth, honour, fulfilment of the rights of people, animals and environment. The Life in HellIf out of His Grace and Mercy Allah does not forgive the rebellious and sinful People they will be spending a very long time in the scorching heat, valleys and rivers of Hellfire which will be made out of fire and filthy discharges of the people of Hell. The nonbelievers will abide therein forever whereas the Believers will be taken out after a period of time. The everlasting life of ParadiseThose people who believed and led a pious life and safeguarded themselves from sin, Allah Ta’la through His infinite mercy and grace will inhabit them forever in Paradise. The paradise of a normal inhabitant will be many times bigger than this world. Every dweller of paradise will have the height of Prophet Adam, beauty of Prophet Yusuf, age of Prophet Isa, voice of Prophet Daud, and the character of our Master Muhammad (Peace be upon them all). Allah the Majestic will directly speak to the people and show them his unrivalled and unmatched beauty. In paradise there will be no sickness, death or any other problems or difficulties. It will be for those people who have pleased their Lord in this World.SummarySo that mankind can save themselves from the punishment of Hellfire and enter paradise a person is trained in this path as how to purify his body, mind and soul from the sins and then how to maintain their purity – this is known as Self-purification (Tazkiyah Nafs). After a person purifies himself he becomes the beloved of Allah and Allah the exalted becomes pleased and happy with that person, or else after death an extremely painful torment awaits him. Some fundamental questions and their answers.Question: What is the objective of this path?Answer: The Pleasure of Allah in other words to please Allah, the Lord of theWorlds Question: How can I please Allah, the Creator of all?Answer: In order to please Allah one must do four things 1) Give preference to Allah and His commandTo give preference to Allah over all falsehood and false gods and to give preference to His commands by controlling ones desires in compliance with the divine commands through practical struggle. 2) Give preference to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) and honouring Hisway of life and teachings. To give preference to the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) over all leaders and role models and to give preference to His way of life (Peace be upon him) over all false and opposing ways of life and life styles by adopting the Prophetic way in all spheres of life and leaving what opposes it. 3) Compassion upon creationTo fulfil the rights of Allah’s creation and have compassion upon them according to teachings of Quran and Sunnah by protecting life, honour, wealth and the environment. Also try to save them from the punishment of hereafter by giving them good advice and warning them of the bad consequences of bad deeds. 4) Presence of AllahTo always be in the presence of Allah, with the inner self and the heart and to maintain this presence by remembering that Allah is with me, watching me, hears everything I say and as a consequence to choice to do the appropriate actions in one’s life. Question: Describe those states and experiences things that don’t necessarily lead to the closeness of Allah and neither are they objectives that need to be achieved nor should one aim for them. Answer: States and spiritual experiences, which are not within the choice of a personThe points written below are non‐objectives and are not necessary:1. To see good dreams2. To see visions and occurrence of miracles (Karamat)3. Divine inspiration (Ilham) or similar states4. To see lights and illuminations whilst meditating or performing remembrance of Allah5. Having permission to blow for the sake of curing and healing through supplication and recitation of Quran, to perform seemingly super‐natural arts and tricks and have permission to give charms (ta’weez)6. To control jinns and to perform exorcism7. Increase in wealth or business8. To be cured from physical and mental illness9. Claim to be able to predict the future and to be able to read minds10. To have success in civil matters and worldly affairs11. To achieve such a state where one will automatically start doing good and will abandon sin without having to do any effort on one’s part12. To achieve such a state for one not to have any evil thoughts or whispers13. Increase in offspring14. Someone else will take the responsibility of our salvation while you do not abide by divine law (Shariah) and are still indulged in sinful life15. Hope to reach a station where one is not even inclined at the least towards any sin16. The movement or activation of subtle bodies (Latifa) (This is a experience inwhich some people feel a pulse beat in different areas of chest similar to the heart beat but more strongly).17. To attain respect in the eyes of people 18. Circumstances to always be in your favour19. Enjoyment in worship20. Some of the above things and claims are contrary to Shariah like prediction of future and mind reading. All of the above matters are not objectives or goals. Some are praiseworthy and some are condemnable. The true objectiveThe above mentioned are not the objective however the objective is to attain the pleasure of Allah and the greatest way to achieve this is by following the blessed life of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) in all aspects. Some major aspects are listed below.1) Beliefs – In other words what are the beliefs of a person in relation to Allah His Angels, His Messengers, Books and the Hereafter2) Worship – Prayer, Fasting, Pilgrimage, Charity, Remembrance andRecitation3) Transaction and dealings – Financial transactions and business.4) Social life – Normal day‐to‐day activities such as dressing, eating, drinking, and sleeping etc.5) Character – To try and attain the inward qualities of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon be him) such as:Patience (Sabr) (not to react in contrary to Shariah in times of calamity or happiness, neither with the tongue, heart or body)Sincerity (Ikhlas) (To do worshipful actions purely for the pleasure of Allah and not for any worldly gain)Gratitude (Shukr) (To understand that blessings are all from Allah and not from your own doings and not to misuse them in the disobedience of Allah)Remembrance (To always be in the presence of Allah in mind, soul and heart by feeling that Allah is watching and to manifest this on the tongue and body through His praise and obedience) Reliance (To employ the means by keeping the vision and thought directed towards Allah’s power and control and to leave all matters and results with Allah)Abstinence (To discard any desires for the world in preference to theHereafter) Note: If other good states such as good dreams, enjoyment in worship areobtained apart from the above mentioned then one should thank Allah and if not then there is no need to worry as there will not be any loss in attaining Allah’s closeness and proximity.Question: What are the pre‐conditions to begin travelling on this path?Reply: In order to become a friend of Allah before becoming a traveller on this path there are three prerequisites to fulfil otherwise this journey cannot be accomplishedQuestion: what are the conditions?Answer: First condition: Correct Beliefs Aqeedah – The beliefs (Aqeedah) of a Muslim should be in accordance to the doctrine of Ahle‐Sunnah‐Wal‐Jam’ah. The Aqeedah informs a person what he should believe in and also how. Aqeedah has seven foundations. To believe in:1) Allah: To believe in Allah’s essence and all of His attributes and not to associate anyone with Him, in His attributes or His actions. Furthermore to believe that he does not resemble any of His creation and neither do they resemble Him. In addition, to believe that neither is He a part of any creation or nor is any of His creation a part of Him. He is beyond all thoughts and imaginations.2) Angels: To have faith in all of the Angels and to believe that they are allsinless. They do not disobey their Lord. They fulfil all the Commands of Allah 3) Books: To believe in all the heavenly Books that Allah Ta’la revealed but toonly follow the Quran, which is the final Book and the previously revealed Books have been abrogated i.e. the Gospel, Torah and psalms.4) Messengers: To believe in all the Prophets and Messengers and to believethat they are the greatest of all creation and that they are completely free from sin. However it is incumbent to only follow the footsteps of the Leader of both worlds and Imam of all the Prophets and Messengers, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).5) The Day of Judgement: To believe in the Day of Reckoning and that all of mankind and Jinns will be assembled in the Presence of Allah, includingthose that have passed away and all those that are to come. Allah with His infinite Grace and Mercy will bestow reward and with the His justice punish the wrongdoers. On that Day no one will be unjustly treated.6) Fate and destiny: To hold faith that the knowledge of Allah encompasses all time and places and He has power and control over all things. Whatever Hewills He does. The actions of all people are in His knowledge, however the person acts in accordance to his own will and Allah Ta’la does not force anyone. Out of Allah’s will the freedom of choice has been given to people. He is the Creator of all things and actions. He becomes pleased with good deeds and becomes displeased with sin. Goodness and evil, or any other thing for that matter is not outside the knowledge of Allah Ta’la. And furthermore to have the belief that he is free of all deficiencies and shortcomings i.e. to oppress lie etc.7) Life after death To have the belief that everyone will be resurrected afterdeath, after which a new chapter in a person’s life will begin lasting forever.Finality of Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) Our Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is the last of all Prophets and after that there will be no new Prophet to come. Whoever claims such a thing is an imposter and is out of the fold of Islam as well as those who follow him. Close to the end of time Prophet Jesus (Upon him be peace) will descend into this world as a follower of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) (not as a Prophet bringing new laws) by following the Quran and Sunnah and establishing Islamic rule on the whole of the earth. Companions and the Family of the Prophet (Peace be upon him)Hadrat Abu bakr Saddique, Hadrat Umar, Hadrat Othman, Hadrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with them all) are more virtous than all other companions. The Family of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), Hadrat Fatimah, Hadrat Hassan and Hussein (may Allah be pleased with them) are all leaders of the people of Paradise. All the companions are beloved to Allah Ta’la. All the wives of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) are mothers of all believers and must be respected, like Syyidah Khadeeja, Syyidah Aishah, Syyidah Hafsah (May Allah be pleased with them all) and others Whoever criticises them is cursed and whoever accuses them of disbelief himself is a disbeliever. The Friends of AllahThe pious people who follow the sunnah and please Allah Ta’la are known as the friends of Allah (Aulia Allah) and to disrespect them is an extremely unfortunate and lowly act. The Friend of Allah is he who strictly adheres to the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and follows the Shariah. If Allah wills miracles are performed at his hands, however this is not a condition Allah’s friendship. The greatest of all miracles is to remain steadfast on the Prophetic way of life (sunnah). The friends of the Satan (devil)Whoever opposes the Shariah (divine law) given by the holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and claims to be a friend of Allah (Wali) can never be a friend of Allah even though he may perform miracles such as flying, walking on water, mind‐reading or any other such acts, in fact, is a friend of satan. The abandonment of prayer and the continuous abandonment of the congregational prayer without a valid legal excuse, shaving of the beard, meeting of the opposite sex in seclusion and having physical contact with them, fortune‐telling are notqualities found in the Friend of Allah (wali). Through dreams, visions and divine inspiration there can never be any additions or omissions to the Shariah and whoever claims such a thing has become a follower of the satan and has gone astray. Included amongst them are those who outwardly do not establish the prayer and claim that their spirits are in contant worship and they we are not in any need of worship and obedience to sunnah because we have reached our destination.........yes they have most surely reached it, but the question is where?Answer: HELLFIRE and in the valleys of misguidance not closeness, pleasure and proximity of Allah. (Aqeedah‐Tahawiyah, Sharh Fiqh al‐Akbar, and Takmeel –ul – Iman) Beginning the journey to the Divine Presence (state of Ihsaan)When a person fulfils the three conditions, in others words: the correctness of Belief, learning of the important Islamic Fiqh rulings, and removing any shortcoming and deficiencies in fulfilling the rights of Allah and His creation.First and foremost he should be sincere in his intention that all this effort I am putting in is for success in the hereafter and to please Allah the Exalted, not for the sake of fame and name or any material benefits of this world. The first stage of purification ‐ Purification of the seven organs of the bodyIn the first stage one tries to purify the seven organs of the body. With these organs people do good deeds or bad deeds.1) Tongue 2) Eyes 3) Hands 4) Ears 5) Feet 6) Private parts 7) Stomach When one commits a sin with any one of these organs then a black spot appears on the heart. If that person does not repent then slowly the whole heart becomes darkened and then that person fails to differentiate between the truth, falsehood, good and bad thus the heart becomes blind. The method to purify these organs is that a person should start to purify oneorgan at a time. If he can simultaneously save all seven organs from committing sins then he should start the second stage of the path, which is purification of themind. To begin the first stage of the path, one must, with the pre requisite of repentance, repent from the sins listed on the given sheet, for example the tongue sheet. The methodology for doing this is, one should put effort and striveto meet the conditions of that given sheet, until he has consecutively for thirty days abstained from the sins listed. This is achieved by protecting himself from the sins of the tongue up until night‐time, upon which he should put a tick in thebox on the sheet. However if on the seventh day or any other day oneintentionally commits the sin related to the sheet then he must put a cross on and then offer the prayer of repentance (2 units) and repent with the conditions of repentance and start againAfter completing the tongue sheet one starts the ears sheet. Now the person is abstaining from the sins related to the tongue and ears. Now day by day he is attaining the nearness of Allah the Exalted. In this way one completes all the sheets. The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: ‘The person who indulges in bad deeds, then after that does good ones his likeness is of the person who is wearing an armour (metal war clothing) which is strangling his throat. He then does a good deed and one knot or button of the armour opens up then he doesthe second good deed which opens up the second link and as a result of this he begins to walk freely.’ (Meaning of the hadith not exact words)Hadrat Abdullah bin Masood mentions ‘One man came to the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) and began to say: Oh Messenger of Allah! I came across a woman in the garden – Other than having intercourse I did everything that was possible with her. I kissed her and I hugged her, other than that I did nothing – now you may do whatever you want with me. The Messengerof Allah (Peace be upon him) did not say anything to him. When that person went away Hadrat Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) said: ‘Allah the Exalted had veiled him, he should also have kept himself veiled. The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) kept on looking at that person, then he said: ‘Call him to me’. When the Honourable Companions called him the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) read the following verse to him: ‘And perform As‐Salah at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night [i.e. the five compulsory Salat (prayers)]. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice). (11:114)’Hadrat Muadh (May allah be pleased with him) then asked: ‘Oh Prophet of Allah (Peace be upon him) is this advice for him alone or is it for everyone?’ The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: ‘This concession is for everyone’. The second stage of purification ‐ Purification of the mindA person carries out a sin with the seven organs only when a sinful thought enters his mind and then with his heart he makes the intention to carry it out. The sin is presented in the form of a small sparkle and thought. At this point to save himself is easy however if it turns into a flame then it takes over the whole heart and mind which then leads to the organ of the person carrying out the sin. In this stage there are ten levels – In it the seeker is practically trained on a thirty day basis how to purify the mind from satanic and evil thoughts and once these thoughts do come, how to extinguish them.In the following stages the person is taught how to remain occupied in the remembrance of Allah. In the end the person who completes these ten levels willhave purified his thoughts and his mind will become firmly established in the remembrance of Allah and in the love of His Messenger (Peace be upon him). If a person does not even entertain any sinful thoughts then it will become easy to save himself from sins. Third stage of purification – Purification of the Heart and soulOther than the purification of the body, its organs and the mind there are certain sins that are invisible to the eye however they are extremely dangerous and they can take a person to hellfire for example envy, hatred, arrogance, ostentation, and excessive love of the world. In this stage these evil qualities are removed and in their place the good qualities such as patience, gratitude, humbleness, love ofAllah, abstinence (removal of the desire of the world from the heart) are planted. A person spends his whole life in one or more of these four states only:1) Obedience 2) Disobedience 3) Blessing 4) CalamityIn this stage a person a person is taught how to react in the right way to any one of these four states turning their current state into a blessing and in turn this will lead a person to a pure life (Hayatan Tayabah).1) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of obedience:Humility, humbleness, servant hood, and sincerity2) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of disobedience: Regret, shame, forgiveness and repentance3) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of blessing:Attributing the blessing to Allah and being thankful in the heart and using the blessing according to divine commands and not in the disobedience of Allah the exalted.4) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of calamity: Patience and refraining from sin and returning to AllahIn all of these there are ten levels in which the seeker is trained practically, mentally and spiritually It can be seen from the diagram that if a person chooses the right reaction whilst In any of these four states then his whole life becomes a blessing.Fourth Stage ‐ Divine closeness and pleasure and enlightenment of the soul and heart Respect and obedience to the TeacherWhen a person rectifies his belief, learns the necessary Islamic rulings, removes any shortcomings and deficiencies in fulfilling the rights of Allah and His creation, purifies the seven organs, the thoughts of the mind, and the soul (nafs) from the evil traits and replaces them with the praiseworthy ones, then the vessel of the seeker has become clean and purified. Now the time has come when his heart and inner self becomes enlightened with the Gnosis (the deep knowledge) of Allah and now the heavenly winds of Allah’s closeness and pleasure begin to whirl upon his soul. In this stage firstly the seeker completely follows the teachings and sayings of his Teacher and Guide and gains aportion of his states and stations. In other words he now completely follows his teacher and leaves the passions and desires of the evil self.Obedience and love of the Messenger (Peace be upon him)The result of following the Teacher is that the seeker now finds himself besides the blessed springs and fountains of the sayings, actions, states, stations and the essence of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and drinks from them according to his own level.Obedience and love of Allah The Exalted (Annihilation in Allah)When the seeker completely follows the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) to his own ability and level and his life becomes coloured in the colour of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) then Allah the Exalted makes him His beloved – After that the person wholeheartedly strives to follow the sayings and guidance’s of Allah and decorates himself with the praiseworthy attributes and then he drinks continously from the sacred rivers of Divine gnosis, closeness and pleasure. Now his outward and inward is enlightened with the love and obedience of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and Allah, the exalted and his heart and innerself always remain in the presence of Allah. The person begins to attain the stations of ‘Presence with Allah which is known as ‘Ihsaan’ (Perfection in servitude) in the Hadith.Station of calling the people to Allah the Majestic (Muqaam Dawah)When a person reaches this stage then upon him is two responsibilities:1) Wherever he has reached in the path he remains steadfast upon it. In otherwords continuously practice and strive and not to show slackness and laziness because it is comparatively easier to rise higher but difficult to keep yourself higher. When the servant feels he is strong, at that time very time he may be weak and vulnerable to the plans of devil and ego.2) According to the best of his abilities and power he calls the creation of Allah to Allah’s obedience and servitude beginning from one’s own nafs (ego) then family, then tribe, then locality, then city, country and then the whole world, inviting them to the obedience and Lordship of Allah and to the way of the Messenger of Allah, the Leader of the Prophets, our Master Muhammad (Peace be upon him).Hope & Fear (Khawf wa Raja)When a person reaches this station he should hope for the Pleasure and closeness of Allah and salvation in the hereafter. He should also have fear due to his shortcomings and deficiencies as one cannot worship Allah as He deserves to be worshiped and served. Now a person inwardly with the state of presence of Allah and outwardly with the Prophetic way of life (Sunnah) continuously flies to his goal which is the pleasure of Allah with two wings, namely hope and fear. Hope inthe Mercy of Allah and fear due to shortcomings in ones deeds and worship.Reliance on Allah (Tawakkul)Now as the servant is doing everything to the best of his abilities, he should not rely on this effort and deeds but from the heart and inner self, he should always be in a state of need and poverty towards Allah, the Lord of the worlds. As though his inner self keeps praying from the depths of the heart and soul “I can only attain Your Pleasure with Your Grace and Mercy, not because of my effort and deeds”. And whoever hopes from Allah His Mercy and Grace and adopts theappropriate means, Allah then deals with him according to His Mercy and Grace. The Day of Departure from the Earthy lifeThe servant of Allah in spite of doing his best according to his own abilities still fears as in which state he is going to leave this world in the state of faith (Iman) ordisbelief (Kufr), righteousness or sinfulness? Will angels from paradise descend to take me or angels from Hell? Will Allah be pleased with me or displeased? The devil tries to lead a person astray to the very end. The servant of Allah believes ifAllah will deal with me according to my deeds, then Hell is waiting for me but if Allah deals with me from His grace and mercy then a blissful life is waiting for me. May you be one of those who are addressed with the sweet address: "O (thou) soul, in (complete) rest and satisfaction! Come back thou to thy Lord, ‐ well pleased (thyself), and well‐pleasing unto Him! Enter thou, then, among My devotees! Yea, enter thou My Heaven!" Peace and blessings be upon the Prophet and upon his family and companions. The Hasani and Hussainiy Sanads of Tareeqah Muhammadiyah Tareeqah Muhammadiyah ©

zawiyah.org —  THE JOURNEY OF THE HUMAN SOUL‘ADM (In other words there was nothing in existence apart from Allah) Everything that one can see all around oneself such as the sky, sun, moon, birds, animals, rivers and mountains were not created by themselves and nor were they created by mankind. In Surah Mulk Allah the Exalted mentions “He hascreated death and life that He may test you which of you is best in deed”. Some fundamental questions and their answers.Question: What is the objective of this path?Answer: The Pleasure of Allah in other words to please Allah, the Lord of theWorldsQuestion: How can I please Allah, the Creator of all?Answer: In order to please Allah one must do four things 1) Give preference to Allah and His commandTo give preference to Allah over all falsehood and false gods and to give preference to His commands by controlling ones desires in compliance with the divine commands through practical struggle. Answer:States and spiritual experiences, which are not within the choice of a personThe points written below are non‐objectives and are not necessary:1. To attain respect in the eyes of people18. Some major aspects are listed below.1)Beliefs – In other words what are the beliefs of a person in relation to Allah His Angels, His Messengers, Books and the Hereafter2)Worship – Prayer, Fasting, Pilgrimage, Charity, Remembrance andRecitation3)Transaction and dealings – Financial transactions and business.4)Social life – Normal day‐to‐day activities such as dressing, eating, drinking, and sleeping etc.5)Character – To try and attain the inward qualities of the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon be him) such as:Patience (Sabr) (not to react in contrary to Shariah in times of calamity or happiness, neither with the tongue, heart or body)Sincerity (Ikhlas) (To do worshipful actions purely for the pleasure of Allah and not for any worldly gain)Gratitude (Shukr) (To understand that blessings are all from Allah and not from your own doings and not to misuse them in the disobedience of Allah)Remembrance (To always be in the presence of Allah in mind, soul and heart by feeling that Allah is watching and to manifest this on the tongue and body through His praise and obedience)Reliance (To employ the means by keeping the vision and thought directed towards Allah’s power and control and to leave all matters and results with Allah)Abstinence (To discard any desires for the world in preference to theHereafter) Note: If other good states such as good dreams, enjoyment in worship areobtained apart from the above mentioned then one should thank Allah and if not then there is no need to worry as there will not be any loss in attaining Allah’s closeness and proximity.Question: What are the pre‐conditions to begin travelling on this path?Reply: In order to become a friend of Allah before becoming a traveller on this path there are three prerequisites to fulfil otherwise this journey cannot be accomplishedQuestion: what are the conditions?Answer:First condition: Correct Beliefs Aqeedah – The beliefs (Aqeedah) of a Muslim should be in accordance to the doctrine of Ahle‐Sunnah‐Wal‐Jam’ah. The Aqeedah informs a person what he should believe in and also how. Aqeedah has seven foundations. To believe in:1)Allah: To believe in Allah’s essence and all of His attributes and not to associate anyone with Him, in His attributes or His actions. Furthermore to believe that he does not resemble any of His creation and neither do they resemble Him. In addition, to believe that neither is He a part of any creation or nor is any of His creation a part of Him. He is beyond all thoughts and imaginations.2)Angels:To have faith in all of the Angels and to believe that they are allsinless. They do not disobey their Lord. They fulfil all the Commands of Allah 3)Books: To believe in all the heavenly Books that Allah Ta’la revealed but toonly follow the Quran, which is the final Book and the previously revealed Books have been abrogated i.e. the Gospel, Torah and psalms.4)Messengers: To believe in all the Prophets and Messengers and to believethat they are the greatest of all creation and that they are completely free from sin. However it is incumbent to only follow the footsteps of the Leader of both worlds and Imam of all the Prophets and Messengers, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).5)The Day of Judgement: To believe in the Day of Reckoning and that all of mankind and Jinns will be assembled in the Presence of Allah, includingthose that have passed away and all those that are to come. Allah with His infinite Grace and Mercy will bestow reward and with the His justice punish the wrongdoers. On that Day no one will be unjustly treated.6)Fate and destiny: To hold faith that the knowledge of Allah encompasses all time and places and He has power and control over all things. Included amongst them are those who outwardly do not establish the prayer and claim that their spirits are in contant worship and they we are not in any need of worship and obedience to sunnah because we have reached our destination.........yes they have most surely reached it, but the question is where?Answer: HELLFIRE and in the valleys of misguidance not closeness, pleasure and proximity of Allah.(Aqeedah‐Tahawiyah, Sharh Fiqh al‐Akbar, and Takmeel –ul – Iman) Beginning the journey to the Divine Presence (state of Ihsaan)When a person fulfils the three conditions, in others words: the correctness of Belief, learning of the important Islamic Fiqh rulings, and removing any shortcoming and deficiencies in fulfilling the rights of Allah and His creation.First and foremost he should be sincere in his intention that all this effort I am putting in is for success in the hereafter and to please Allah the Exalted, not for the sake of fame and name or any material benefits of this world. The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: ‘The person who indulges inbad deeds, then after that does good ones his likeness is of the person who iswearing an armour (metal war clothing) which is strangling his throat. He thendoes a good deed and one knot or button of the armour opens up then he doesthe second good deed which opens up the second link and as a result of this hebegins to walk freely.’ (Meaning of the hadith not exact words)Hadrat Abdullah bin Masood mentions ‘One man came to the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) and began to say: Oh Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) kept on looking at that person, then he said: ‘Call him tome’. When the Honourable Companions called him the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) read the following verse to him: ‘And perform As‐Salah at the twoends of the day and in some hours of the night [i.e. the five compulsory Salat(prayers)]. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That isa reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice). A person spends his whole life in one or more of these four states only:1) Obedience 2) Disobedience 3) Blessing 4) CalamityIn this stage a person a person is taught how to react in the right way to any one of these four states turning their current state into a blessing and in turn this will lead a person to a pure life (Hayatan Tayabah).1) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of obedience:Humility, humbleness, servant hood, and sincerity2) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of disobedience: Regret, shame, forgiveness and repentance3) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of blessing:Attributing the blessing to Allah and being thankful in the heart and using the blessing according to divine commands and not in the disobedience of Allah the exalted.4) The right reactions of a person whilst being in a state of calamity: Patience and refraining from sin and returning to AllahIn all of these there are ten levels in which the seeker is trained practically, mentally and spiritually It can be seen from the diagram that if a person chooses the right reaction whilst In any of these four states then his whole life becomes a blessing.Fourth Stage ‐ Divine closeness and pleasure and enlightenment of the soul andheart Respect and obedience to the TeacherWhen a person rectifies his belief, learns the necessary Islamic rulings, removes any shortcomings and deficiencies in fulfilling the rights of Allah and His creation, purifies the seven organs, the thoughts of the mind, and the soul (nafs) from the evil traits and replaces them with the praiseworthy ones, then the vessel of the seeker has become clean and purified.
